"The room was clean and in a great location, close to most of Baoding's attractions, all within walking distance. To get a taxi, you need to walk out of the hotel parking lot and wait on the roadside. The room is on a lower floor, so it was a bit noisy. A card is required to go upstairs, but security was okay. The room window was a little drafty, but thankfully the curtains were thick. Breakfast was satisfying. The front desk allowed a late check-out, thank you. Overall, good value for money."

"The location is too convenient! Close to Baoding East Station and the high-speed exit, self-driving parking is free and spacious. It takes 10 minutes to go to attractions such as the downtown museum. It is also super convenient to go back and forth to Beijing. It is very worry-free to drive by high-speed rail or drive. The room is clean and smart: reading lights are adjustable, and robots deliver food super cool! The gym is small but adequate, soundproofed and light rods, comfortable bedding, and the design of separation of dry and wet is particularly user-friendly. The front desk smile is super kind! Take the initiative to help carry luggage and quickly change rooms super efficient. After checking out, I also called to remind you to drop things, and the children's supplies should respond in seconds, and the details are full! There are many Chinese and Western buffet choices, and the taste is online and cost-effective. You can eat a hot breakfast when you wake up and start a good day!"

"The Modern Crystal Hotel in Baoding is only a 2 minute walk to & from Baoding Railway Station and there are lots of small shops and places to eat, as well as a shopping mall nearby which includes an Apple store! The hotel is quite old and some parts of the rooms I saw were badly in need of refurbishing, but the customer service is excellent. Every staff member I dealt with during my 3 night stay was wonderful …. the Reception staff, and the lovely ladies who clean the rooms and work in the dining room were all consistently and naturally extremely helpful and friendly to me ☺️ The Reception staff ask if you use WeChat, which is great, because you can message them if you need to ask anything and they respond immediately. One of the young guys on Reception went out of his way to help me when the sole of my shoe came away from my shoe, by trying to find a shoe repair shop (there wasn’t one) and then finding & ordering shoe repair glue on Amazon China for me and delivering it to me in my room an hour later! That kind of service is really heartwarming to a foreign traveller 💜 There is a hotel laundry available for guests to use, which was great! BYO laundry detergent. The only real issue - and it’s a major issue - was that smoking is allowed (and encouraged) in the hotel, which, as an Australian, I find shocking and quite unacceptable in this day & age of global “no smoking” health laws. The first room I was allocated smelt so badly of cigarette smoke, I couldn’t stay in it and requested a clean smelling room. The Reception staff complied immediately, and the 2nd room was much better, although it also had a very faint cigarette smell which was not ideal because it spoils the enjoyment of the room, and a No Smoking room should not smell of cigarette smoke at all, but I assume that every room was probably the same. Even the lifts & foyers on each floor smelt badly of cigarette smoke, and it wasn’t nice to see ashtrays everywhere. I have found the same problem in other hotels in China on this visit, more than ever before, and it’s really not pleasant for those of us who hate the smell of cigarette smoke and also get headaches from the horrible smell. It’s a shame, because no matter how excellent the customer service is, the cigarette smoking would prevent me from booking there again, or recommending it to anyone. Pity 😟"

Breakfast is varied and of good quality. Affordable price and high cost performance. Beautiful environment and convenient parking. The room is well soundproofed. The overall service quality is high! "來了三四次保定，帶着孩子來玩兒酒店有點讓人頭疼，西大街那邊位置好挺多但是設施有點老舊，無意中搜到這家新開的有男孩喜歡的海底小縱隊親子房，開車有停車位，帶娃入住體驗滿分!有小朋友的拖鞋，牙刷專屬浴袍！非常貼心。房間很大超級寬敞明亮，非常滿意，重要的是還有個露台，還有搖搖椅兒子喜歡的不得了！樓下就有便利店和餐館，吃飯方便。有健身房和洗衣房，早餐東西不多但也夠吃。駕車距離景區很近，缺點就是晚上我們12點回去了水就不是那麼熱了，服務員説洗澡高峯到了要加熱一段時間，服務蠻好的很貼心還送了伴手禮和温暖礦泉水，情緒值拉滿！！！！下次還來住這家！！"
