Pros: The location is very convenient for booked tours, just next to the seafood market. The room is clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Cons: The window is facing the corridor, and we have to always close it for privacy. The room (family room) is very small for 3 people (hard to believe to have such a small room in Malaysia). The fan at the corridor is very noisy. The area around is messy, and can be noisy on Saturday and Sundar morning (market).

Semporna is an interesting place to visit, with several islands surrounded by coral reefs for snorkeling and diving, more beautiful than many other snorkeling spots worldwide. Staying at this hostel instead of moving to an island resort is a good way to budget. And not only that, the fish market in Semporna is the most incredible one I have seen, seafood like lobsters, large shrimps, crabs so fresh, not even the one at Kota Kinabalu can be compared good as it was too. The DZ hostel lady staff was very helpful and can arrange for island trips at a reasonable price. The dorms are separated into boys and girls, something I truly appreciate. The bathrooms faced the afternoon sun, so they were dried easily and kept clean. Laundry by machine was offered free, a super plus for swimmers. The hostel also offered local Malay snack food for breakfast, and coffee or tea were always available. To be honest, it's a good budget place to stay while splurging on the island tours. It's a bit sad that no cooking is allowed here, even though there was a kitchen. Sad because the seafood mentioned above was so available. The facade of the building is nothing to boast about, and like many places, the external (streets, pavement, eyc) can be a mess. That should not deter visiting this part of the world mainly because the sea in this area is astoundingly replenished with marine life.

A great transit hotel. But if you need to stay longer won't be a problem. Located at the center of Semporna commercial area. Lots of shops and restaurant nearby. The jetty is also very near to this hotel. You won't have problems walking around the area. Choose the room with the view and you will never regret it.

Considering Semporna, this place offers decent value for the price. However, the water pressure is quite low, and it's either scalding hot or freezing cold. Even though the staff don't speak much English, they are incredibly friendly. Overall, it's pretty good value for money.

I stayed at the hotel for four days and felt very good. The hotel owner was very friendly and thoughtful. The relevant facilities and equipment are very complete, and the hot water is abundant. I recommend choosing this one, thank you

If u can locate Taman Sutera then it brings u right to d place. Its difficult for us because there’s no sign board until u reached end of the block 🙂↕️ So disappointed because the price we paid didnt allow us to stay in the mushroom. Its only for rooms next to the office🙂↕️ plz make sure u choose the right room if u want to experience stay in the mushrrom. Well, we got the pics but thats not where we stay🙂↕️

定之前看了很久，也看了其他酒店的評價，最後決定定這家，因為差評我看下來基本都不是酒店的錯。可能因為本來就期望不高，所以住進來體驗感遠遠超出預期。 1.酒店離碼頭非常近，距離吃飯的地方走路衹要10分鐘左右。 2.房間比想象的更大更亮，房間裏面也很整潔，飲水機還有冰水可以喝，跳島遊玩一天回來喝杯冰水真太爽了。 3.前台和老闆人真的超級超級好，幫了我們很多。 其他評價裏的問題。比如有狗叫，這個確實有，民宿就在一個市場裏面，我第一天聽狗叫聽到十一點多，但是後面兩天就沒聽到了。還有説邊上清真寺🕌禮拜的聲音，我衹有一天被尿憋醒的時候聽到了，大概四點多，但是我不是被吵醒的，所以沒什麼不能接受的。最主要一個不太方便的就是門頭不好找，大堂在樓上，跳島遊本地小黑有的時候都找不到。 但是上面的問題在他的價格和位置前面都不值一提。這價格還要什麼自行車呢。仙本那真是太美了，下次還要來⛱️🌊
