O proprietário foi muito acolhedor e recomendou lugares para visitar e restaurantes nas proximidades. As instalações do quarto eram novas, limpas e organizadas. This is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Ou fervendo ou congelando. Extremamente difícil encontrar a temperatura ideal para tomar um banho confortável. Coloquei a água quente no máximo e esperei. A água ficou extremamente quente após 40 segundos. Ajustei para reduzir a temperatura, colocando-a em uma posição intermediária entre quente e fria, mas a água continuou muito quente. Então, coloquei a água fria no máximo. A temperatura da água passou a ficar fria 29 segundos depois. Voltei para a posição intermediária, mas a água continuou gelada. Testei ambas as configurações por pelo menos 4 minutos cada e a água permaneceu ou escaldante ou congelante! O hotel disponibiliza placas indicando o pedido de limpeza do quarto e eu as coloquei na maçaneta da porta por dois dias, mas sem sucesso. Portanto, só posso presumir que os proprietários não oferecem esse serviço. Este estabelecimento é classificado como um hotel de apenas 2 estrelas e, considerando o preço baixo, não se pode reclamar — desde que a tarifa seja baixa. Aceitável por 100 a 120 RMB por noite. Inaceitável por muito mais do que isso.

This is such a lovely little hotel nestled right on the old street. The room was very cute and great value. It was a bit hot at night but the air con solved the issue. I loved the little bath which I enjoyed every night and the cafe at the front which is run by the landlady. I loved enjoying a fresh coffee and people watch in the morning. I would definitely stay here again. It was very clean and well kept. Thank you for having me!

THE BEST OF A HOTEL + THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY Choosing LINJING HOMESTAY was a great decision! I recommend it 100%. THE BEST OF A HOTEL: Spacious, beautiful, bright room with all the amenities and impeccable cleanliness. The views were fabulous, the bed was wonderful (large, with a comfortable, soft mattress and very soft sheets), it also had chairs and a table to work at, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. I liked that there were natural plants, too. The bathroom was fantastic. The bidet water gun was a pleasant surprise. You can shower with very hot water and good pressure. Don't worry if the floor gets wet: the water-repellent tiles dry very quickly. There are disposable towels if you want to bathe in the river, but there are also soft cotton towels and non-slip slippers to use in the hotel. THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY: The hosts are a warm local family. I was touched by their kindness and hospitality. They helped me a lot and always gave me fruit and other nice things to eat. They were always willing to share a cup of tea. They also got me a motorbike at a very good price. And they let me use their washing machine for free. They even drove me to the station and dropped me directly on my bus. THE SURROUNDINGS: The location is excellent. It is a quiet neighbourhood where local families live. You meet very friendly people all the time. You just have to cross the bridge in front of the hotel to get to the old quarter. Behind the hotel there is a path leading up to a viewpoint that few people know about. The path is very well signposted and is perfect for watching the sunset.

The hotel is sandwiched between a restaurant and a retail shop. Its very noisy as there are many shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. Every day there's loud music till late at night. The room is spacious and overall clean. However, there's no elevator and you have to either drag your luggage up the stairs or get the hotel staff to help you. Plus you need to drag your luggage for 10mins to catch your didi from the main road. The restaurant next to the hotel has 10% discount and their beer battered fish was very yummy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

It's definitely worth to stay there. The entrance through the dressing shop is nice and unique. Also the bar at the upper floor is nice, not busy and you can enjoy time there. I got a really nice room directly with view on the streets.
