I really enjoyed my time in this location. The hosts were really welcoming and made me feel like I was part of shantou. With loads of recommendations of great food and a nice environment to meet other travellers and drink tea. The location was great, 10 to 15 min walk to the night markets. I was only supposed to stay in shantou for 2 days but ended up extending to almost a week as I found myself almost comfortable like my own home in this place. Would highly recommend especially if you are looking for a shantou local experience with the best recommendation ! I learnt a lot about chaoshan and Guangdong from all the hosts, really thank them for the experience !

Prefiro UMA toalha de banho de hotel espessa. 3.A máquina de lavar roupa não TEM função de secar. Em geral, é UMA estadia agradável, que é a vontade adequada para famílias com idosos ou crianças, não para viajantes insensatos.

Wow, Shantou is a great city. My first visit here and I went to the ”renovated” section, the park, zoo. I had cycled here from Longyan and was heading to Shenzhen and wanted to see Shantou which is a friend's home city. The hotel was great, very central.

A very very good experience here. I reached early and was given a room with free upgrade. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful. The boss even helped me with booking a Didi on checkout date. Location is excellent too surrounded by nice food and places of interests.

Firstly, we were misguided to think that this is a homestay i.e. a building with a few rooms out for rent. It is actually a modern apartment but scattered over 2 separate high rise blocks. So our group of 4 families had to stay in different blocks due to room configuration. One block has one room whilst the other has 2 rooms. Putting that aside, the accommodation was good. Clean and spacious. The owner was very accommodating as one of the room’s bedding configuration was not suitable for one family but he immediately appointed another unit for them so it was resolved. Beware of the very hard bed even for my standard! There is a washing machine in the unit and a little patio with a fridge and sink but no cooking facilities. Kettle and chinese tea provided and our room has a projector! Dunno how to switch on for shows though due to remote all in chinese. Location was strategic but we had own transporter so it didn’t matter but easily walkable to eateries and convenience store.

Staff is friendly, helpful and approachable. Places of interest are within walking distance. However, room's soundproof is bad. There is only a narrow sliding window in my room which does not give an external view as it is blocked. As such room ventilation is poor. I wouldn't recommend for long stay. For the price I paid, I think I can get better accommodation.

設施：房間設施蠻新的，而且這次入住的體驗很好，也沒有之前來汕頭這種黴雨的味道，可能也跟季節有關係，整體房間很新。 衞生：衞生也不錯，還會及時詢問需不需要打掃衞生，也不會過多的打擾。 環境：環境挺好的，在一個停車場裏面，出去離步行街啊，萬象城都不是很遠，一個比較居中的位置。而且這邊呢，小電動是非常方便的，去到哪裡都很不錯。 服務：服務很好，入住完以後加了管家的聯繫會給我發一些攻略，還有周邊好吃的一些清單，感覺非常的貼心。

Exceptional Stay – Panorama Sea View Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple. The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay. The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Thought it was close to the railway station but actually not. The hotel bathroom is not that clean, I think they might need some more efforts to clean the showers.

We all together 3 couples checked in 3 hotel rooms at Jinjiang Inn at Shantou 20-22 Dec 2023. We should thumbs up to the on-duty gentleman/manager with a technician who offered his kind service to open up a faulty locked travel baggage belonged to our team-mate after we checked in. Although the hotel is not in the busy city center, it is near to public bus stations for 10 minute ride to Shantou famous old business district /小公园 packed with visitors . We also found that the stall opposite the hotel offered delicious braised pork at very reasonable prices ! Also, we are thankful to the young lady on-duty at the reception for her quick response to our request for a SUV that took us to Chaozhou on 22 Dec. The decent Chinese breakfast at the hotel was acceptable if not compared to 4/5-star rated. Overall we were happy during our stay at Jinjiang Inn Shantou
