Encontre hotéis 2-Star em Kunming

Not really a youth hostel but someone's high rise flat filled with beds on 7th floor. Excellent location near to railway station but difficult to find on the map and you need to ring the owner who doesn't speak English. I've added the photo of the entrance doorway and amended map but you still need to ring the owner to get access. Cramped, only one bathroom for a lot of people, but kitchen with kettle and living area, good budget accommodation for a night, I wouldn't stay here longer.

Booked this hotel last minute and it turned out to be a great experience. The service was thoughtful; both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly. The location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, so you don't have to go far for a stroll or shopping in the evening. It was comfortable and convenient.

Minus one point for cleanliness as I was in a smoker's room - as a non-smoking person the smell was bothering me. Other than that everything was great! Various breakfast options, many restaurants right next to the hotel, free laundromat. I had a problem finding it but it is literally right next to Vienna Hotel. 5min walk from Kunming station.

A pousada está localizada no centro da cidade, a uma curta caminhada da Rua Nanping e do mercado noturno. As camas são limpas, as áreas comuns são espaçosas e a equipe da recepção é simpática. Oferece excelente custo-benefício, tem um ótimo ambiente de hostel e torna a viagem solo menos solitária. Altamente recomendada para quem visita Kunming!

Good if you want to spend a night near the railway station. About 40mins away from the city center by subway. Otherwise, the rooms are good, comfortable and very spacious, even though the entrance, and corridor don't look too good. It's in the tenth floor, in case you dont know chinese

Esta área é bem legal, eu só reservei para ficar perto da estação de trem, mas tem uma cidade universitária enorme abaixo com barracas de comida abertas até tarde e muuuuitas opções de comida. SQUAT TOILET. Só para você saber, os quartos só têm banheiros agachados em um banheiro minúsculo, de modo que você tem que tomar banho de pé sobre o banheiro agachado. O que é bom para mim, mas certamente não é o favorito de todos. Bom o suficiente pelo preço.

A banheira do hotel é Muito limpa, não há banho de água Na piscina do banheiro, e então as Palavras do quarto são boas, e as Palavras do sono são Muito isolantes.Não é Muito louca.Bem, o preço global do hotel é Muito prático.

Despite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note: 1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival. 2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room. 3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised. We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.

Great location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
