"This was one of the best experiences we've had at a hotel. The building is quite new, and the room, washroom, and amenities were all exceptional. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The host picked us up from the train station, took us to a restaurant, picked us up after our meal, gave us fruit, and helped us buy the tickets for Huashan. He gave us a ride early in the morning to the mountain the next day, gave us hiking gloves which made hiking a lot easier, and picked us up after a full day of hiking. He did all of this without charging anything extra, which is above and beyond anything we could have asked for. We would highly recommend staying here!"

"Our stay at Hanshan Xiaozhu Homestay was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless with new furniture, new facilities, and a very comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly kind—he offered us free rides to Huashan and even to the train station, which made our trip so convenient. We also enjoyed delicious food at the homestay, prepared with care and served with genuine warmth. The friendliness and generosity we experienced here were the highlight of our trip. We received the best hospitality, and we truly believe they deserve all the support. "Este B&B é o mais atencioso em que já fiquei. Antes mesmo de descermos do trem, o proprietário ligou antes para perguntar se iríamos de carro ou de ônibus. Descemos do trem de alta velocidade às 22h30, e o proprietário nos encontrou na estação com antecedência e nos ajudou com a bagagem. Quando descemos do trem, ele nos ajudou a levar a bagagem para o quarto. A recepcionista também foi muito entusiasmada e nos deu uma explicação gratuita sobre o mapa da rota da montanha e nos ajudou a planejar nossa rota. O proprietário nos levou até o início da trilha pela manhã e nos buscou quando descemos a montanha. O serviço foi muito atencioso, e o estilo de design do B&B também é único. "A Truly Memorable Stay – Incredible Hospitality at the Foot of Mount Huashan I stayed here while preparing to hike the legendary Mount Huashan from the bottom, and I can honestly say the experience was made all the more special thanks to the incredible kindness and hospitality of the owners. From the moment I arrived, the owners went out of their way to make me feel at home. They provided a detailed and helpful briefing on how to explore the mountain safely, including routes, timings, and what to expect—something that gave me great confidence going into such a challenging hike. The real highlight, however, was their extraordinary help when I accidentally left my camera in a taxi. What could have been a disaster turned into a heartwarming reminder of genuine human kindness. The owners took it upon themselves to contact the driver, coordinate the return, and made sure I got my camera back safely. They didn’t have to go to such lengths, but they did so without hesitation. They were also incredibly accommodating when it came to practical matters—arranging food deliveries after a long day on the trail, and organizing a smooth taxi ride back to the train station when it was time to leave. If you're planning to hike Mount Huashan and are looking for a place that feels more like staying with family than in a hotel, this is the one. I can’t recommend it highly enough."
