"We absolutely enjoyed our stay here, the place is a little cute village vibe. If your looking for somewhere a bit more quiet this is the perfect place for you. The west lake is close by didi. We actually walked over which took a bit longer but really worth it it cause you see a lot of great views. Our hotel accommenders were amazing, so friendly even though there was a language barrier. They helped upgraded our room for free and even carried our heavy luggage up the spiral stairs even though we refused. Truly recommend this place, 100% worth it."

When I was there, the hotel were undergo some renovation, therefore the lobby changed to level 2. The entrance is right next to Metro Line 2, making it super convenient for getting around. "The hotel is located within the 南宋御街 and really convenient to walk around the area. It is really clean and the overall design is minimalist which is really great. The host provides nice service in which all the requests were fulfilled.
Unfortunately, the in-house laundry service stills need to be improved. The clothes we washed still wet even after 1 hour of dryer-use. Another downside of the hotel is that is located slightly far from the nearest metro station, but it always easy to get didi to travel around. So overall is a good place that i will definitely recommend👍🏻"

The landlady and her son treated us like family and were always happy to assist us anytime.
The room is spacious and equipped with everything we needed like fridge, microwave, kettle, bottled water, washing machine, dinner table, sofa and comfortable beds. It’s also spotless clean and they kept it that way till the last day of our stay.
I fell in love with the balcony that’s furnished with table and chairs. It overlooks amazing sceneries of the mountains and the beautiful area down there.
The location is amazing surrounded with all kinds of restaurants and shops. Yet, the most fascinating thing about location is the West Lake that you can reach within short walk.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there anytime I visit Hangzhou."

"Cheguei cedo ao hostel e o quarto cápsula ainda não estava pronto para o check-in. Deixei minha mala enorme no armário, gratuitamente, por 6 horas. O quarto é decente e confortável. Se você tiver uma mala grande (como eu), precisará colocá-la na cama para facilitar o acesso aos seus pertences. Todos os hóspedes são educados e não há muito barulho à noite. Os boxes do chuveiro precisam de rejunte nos cantos e a lixeira do banheiro deveria ser esvaziada a cada hora para manter a aparência e o cheiro agradáveis. Os funcionários da recepção são simpáticos e prestativos. Não consegui lavar roupa porque meu celular (que não é chinês) não consegue baixar o aplicativo :("

I had a truly delightful stay at Wanju·Jijian Lingyin Homestay (West Lake Lingyin Branch). This charming 民宿 offers a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and tasteful design, making it an ideal retreat near Lingyin Temple and the scenic West Lake area. You can walk to the Lingyin Temple from the 民宿.
The hospitality here is exceptional. The boss of the 民宿 was incredibly warm and thoughtful — every night, they prepared small, comforting desserts for guests, and every morning, they served a simple yet delicious breakfast. The staff were equally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any request. On our last day, they even kindly helped us carry our luggage to the car that was taking us to the airport, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The 民宿 itself is incredibly cozy, with a dark-wood interior that gives it a warm, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, perfectly complementing the serene surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring West Lake and the nearby temples.
The location is both convenient and something to plan around. The 民宿 is situated within the Xihu (West Lake) scenic area, meaning many attractions are nearby. However, traffic within this zone can be very heavy, especially during peak hours or weekends, so travelling in and out can sometimes be challenging. Once you're settled in, though, the proximity to major sights is a big advantage.
Overall, I would still highly recommend Wanju·Jijian Lingyin Homestay (West Lake Lingyin Branch) to anyone visiting Hangzhou. The heartfelt service, thoughtful touches, cozy dark-wood setting, comfortable rooms, and serene environment made our stay truly memorable. I would definitely return on my next trip.

This hotel is perfect! Super clean and their facilities are cleanliness. Room for one person is good decoration, bed is the most comfortable. Bathroom and restroom separate for men and women. The staff are nice and helpful. The location just cross a road to Xihu West Lake and very close to Wulin night market. I recommended this hotel for everyone especially woman who are travel alone you will feel safe here and love it! 😊

mayrpamintuanYouwang Meicen Homestay is conveniently located right next to Hefang Old Street, making it an excellent choice for travelers who enjoy being close to a lively walking street filled with various food stalls, eateries, and shops. The location is very vibrant and convenient, especially in the evenings. However, do note that there are stairs leading to the property, so it may not be ideal if you are traveling with a lot of heavy luggage.
When we arrived, our room was not yet ready, so we took the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. The owner was very proactive and messaged us as soon as the room became available, and by the time we returned, our luggage had already been placed inside the room, which we appreciated.
The room itself was spacious and uniquely designed with two levels: a living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. There were plenty of hangers, a clothes rack, and an open cabinet for organizing belongings. The mini bar included bottled water that was replenished daily, and the bathroom came with complete amenities. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, though I did notice a small face mask wrapper left near the bed.
One highlight was the availability of staff 24/7. One night, our key card stopped working, but thankfully there was someone on-site who assisted us immediately. The property also has a vending machine, a 24/7 eatery, and a taproom near the street entrance that stays open late, adding to the convenience.
Overall, Youwang Meicen Homestay offers a comfortable stay in a prime location, with spacious rooms, helpful staff, and easy access to food and nightlifeideal for travelers who want to experience Hefang Old Street up close.

O quarto, o banheiro e o chuveiro estavam limpos e sem cheiro de cigarro. O quarto individual não tinha janela, sendo ideal para guardar pertences e dormir à noite, enquanto você pode sair para passear. Se a sua estadia for mais longa, recomenda-se um quarto com janela. Não havia cabides, mas havia alguns na porta. O quarto era espaçoso o suficiente para abrir uma mala.
Localização - O hotel fica um pouco longe do metrô, mas dá para ir a pé. Se você prioriza a comodidade em vez de caminhar, um hotel mais perto do metrô seria melhor. Há muitos restaurantes nos arredores do hotel.
Comodidades - Toalhas descartáveis são fornecidas diariamente. Se você tomar banho com frequência, traga suas próprias toalhas ou compre extras por 5 yuans. A lavanderia tem máquinas de lavar e secar, mas é um serviço pago (basta passar o cartão no leitor), que é bastante caro. Se você precisar de serviço de lavanderia, é melhor pagar um pouco mais em um hotel com lavanderia gratuita e banheiro privativo; o preço provavelmente será semelhante.

It’s a budget hotel that only the locals know. Even though it’s small, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. They provide clean towels (not disposable), room cleaning, water, toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo and soap as well. There is hair dryer as well. The location is prime as it’s located 5 minutes walk away from West lake and In77. I’m very satisfied with the stay, definitely for solo travelers this hotel is a gem.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was compact but comfortable, with everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. There were also plenty of food options and shops nearby, so I never had to go far for meals or last-minute essentials.
Overall experience was great, and I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

Location is very good. There is a big mall across with an MRT station at its basement and another mrt being built directly across. There is cafes, bakeries and restaurants below and around the whole building and far more across the streets including fruit stalls and wet markets.
Staff is very helpful and kind enough to let me upgrade to several rooms of my choice for free. Staff also helped me change cash into wechatpay and helped me call the deliver when my online purchase was sent to the wrong address. I never find staff this nice anywhere else in several countries.
The apartment rooms and furnitures are not very new, not old, but they are very well taken care of.
My room was very bright, comfortable and clean. My bed, sofa and office chair were very comfortable. Aircon and fridge were very cold. Washing machine is good but no dryer option. Detergent and dish cleaner was given upon request. I wish there was a microwave and clothes iron in the hallway and at least a small table mirror in the room. Some areas need to be cleaned better, because the bed headboard, hook tray stand and kettle tray had a lot of dust. The gap (where we insert our fingers) of the fridge door, the washing machine door and trash can lid needs to be cleaned. The shower was clogged and the water went down very slowly and flooded easily.
Amenities wise, generous, everything was provided from towels, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, bodywash to room slippers and shower slippers. Bottled water, some coffee and tea were provided in the room.
My nice room is directly at the entrance facing the lift. If you don’t like the noise of people coming from the lift or talking at the lift, try to request rooms further away. I like my room more than other rooms so the noise was worth the comfort.
Two months in China and this is the best place I ever stayed.
