"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in town, offering breathtaking views right from our room (for sunset and sunrise see photos). The location alone makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The owner even parked our car right in front of the hotel. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was smooth thanks to a translation app. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we appreciated their warm and accommodating attitude.
The only downside was that our room was quite cold until the heating started working in the evening.
Overall, despite this small issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and welcoming place to stay in the Meili Snow Mountains!"

"It's fine to see Meili, the staff are so helpful and will give you a ride to Meili, but you can easily walk this in the mornin / Hiking spots / advise on the bus. I stayed 2 days to ensure I saw the sunrise which was a good idea because first day was cloudy and 2nd was not! bunks are a little small, I kept hitting my head. and the rooms lack a comforting feeling as they are modern with no homely decor or furniture. No towels provided, only micro towels."

"Pros:
One of the most stunning views from a hotel ever.
Doodoo the dog is the sweetest and felt like a home stay, super quiet and calm! Comfy beds with electric blanket and clean room.
Cons:
The shared toilets,sink shower are outside, which is not ideal in cold November.
First day the woman working was so helpful and accommodating, helped me wash clothes, made food and answered questions. The second day was a different woman, who would not use a translation app to answer questions which made things difficult. Would not make a hot drink in the cafe for me and wouldn’t explain why and wasn’t much help on transport questions because she wouldn’t translate her answers. Unfortunately it stands out because 99% of people in china help you! I went to a different cafe down the road where people were immediately so helpful."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome stay experience! The room is heated enough, not cold at all, equipped with an oxygen generator, and it is not afraid of high reaction. The projection quality is clear and it is too cool to lie down and watch a movie at night. You can watch Rizhao Jinshan 🤩🤩 on the roof. The clean bedding is comfortable and the boss is also enthusiastic. It is highly recommended!"

"The room is great, and the owner is super helpful with our bus ticket and bringing us down to the station to informed the bus driver where to drop us.
Although the view is not superb due to a construction infront of the hotel, it doesn’t really matter much to us as we went down to the platform view."

MMax_S02Em primeiro lugar, deve ser um dos lugares mais bons que tive em Yunnan, ou na China, para isso.Pode pensar que o preço é bom para ser verdade, mas este lugar está muito acima do que se espera desse intervalo de preços. Inicialmente, planeava ficar em Benzilan, mas estou muito feliz por ficar aqui.
As quartos são super espaçosas com telhados elevados e móveis de madeira.A vista fora Da minha janela era muito verde e calma.As instalações eram todas bem mantidas e muito limpas.As fotos realmente não fazem as quartos a justiça que merecem.
Em segundo lugar, e muito importante, o proprietário - um jovem local Benzilan que opera o hotel com a mãe - é excepcionalmente genuíno, genuíno e amigável.Como viajante solitário, ele ajudou a organizar o transporte, ofereceu almoço e até mesmo alguns deles do álcool local. Quanto Ao serviço, este Lugar permanece invencível entre todos OS lugares que viajo Na China.

Este hotel é exatamente como nas fotos, ainda melhor - qualidade, qualidade, qualidade. Grande valor para o custo. UUsuário anônimoThe room is great and has a good view. It even comes equipped with an oxygen machine and heated blanket. The location is convenient, just a short walk away from the Feilaisi Observation Deck. The service is warm and friendly. I felt very at home here. You get a discount when you eat at their restaurant too. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserFacilities: The whole smart home system was very convenient, the room was spacious, and the underfloor heating was lovely. The oxygen concentrator also had a nasal cannula option. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: It's directly opposite the Feilai Temple bus stop, which is super convenient, and only a few hundred meters from the viewing platform. Service: Excellent! Both ladies were very sweet and promptly helped resolve any issues.

LLinda PuiJust to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain.
Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather.
The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time.
One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit.
All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

UUsuário convidadoWhat sets this guesthouse apart from others is its convenient location - while most people spend 2 nights in Upper Yubeng and 1 night in Lower Yubeng, this guesthouse was conveniently located between Upper and Lower Yubeng, allowing me to explore all the hikes without having to change accommodation. The food provided was fresh and good, and the rooms were neat and tidy. Extra points for a western toilet, as many other guesthouses only offer squatting bathrooms. The owners always looked out for our safety as well, providing information on which hikes were safe to do, weather permitting. Will highly recommend this for its convenient location and great service.

UUsuário convidadoHighly recommend this hostel if you want to meet new people in Yubeng! Foreigner-friendly food (I recommend the beef fried rice!) and service (one staff member speaks English really well and others are happy to use translator apps). The only downsides about this hostel is that the toilets/showers for the dorm rooms need to be cleaned way more frequently (there was always mud from hiking boots everywhere) and the walls are very thin. If this is something that bothers you, then I would recommend you book a private room instead of the dorm. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay at this hostel!

UUsuário convidadoThis room is rather pricy for what it offers. Rather basic room and toilet. There is a humidifier and a small room heater which doesn’t really help in the middle of winter. However to our surprise, the bed is electrically heated and works very well and extremely useful in the wintry cold. Location is not too bad as there are many restaurants nearby and the mountain sunrise viewing deck area is maybe within 200m away. Please checkout the Sichuan restaurant just opposite the hotel which would also be recommended by the hotel staff as the food is affordable and extremely delicious. Speaking of the staff, the staff was not at the front desk at check in however he did respond quickly via WeChat. His attitude is bad as though we owed him a living.
