"The room is great, and the owner is super helpful with our bus ticket and bringing us down to the station to informed the bus driver where to drop us.
Although the view is not superb due to a construction infront of the hotel, it doesn’t really matter much to us as we went down to the platform view."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in town, offering breathtaking views right from our room (for sunset and sunrise see photos). The location alone makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The owner even parked our car right in front of the hotel. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was smooth thanks to a translation app. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we appreciated their warm and accommodating attitude.
The only downside was that our room was quite cold until the heating started working in the evening.
Overall, despite this small issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and welcoming place to stay in the Meili Snow Mountains!"

"The homestay owner is reliable. Can ask and help you plan your journey. I use ~90 minutes public bus from Shangrila to Benzilan village. And ask the homestay owner to arrange the share van(local people use it) for my back trip.You will feel more comfort for altitude sickness problem here."

"A fantastic hotel. High-end and classy. Walking at this high altitude is exhausting, let alone climbing stairs. But this hotel is exceptional; it has an elevator. You can see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Feilai Temple to see Meili Snow Mountain. I stayed there myself, and I can attest to the quality."

"Em primeiro lugar, deve ser um dos lugares mais bons que tive em Yunnan, ou na China, para isso.Pode pensar que o preço é bom para ser verdade, mas este lugar está muito acima do que se espera desse intervalo de preços. Inicialmente, planeava ficar em Benzilan, mas estou muito feliz por ficar aqui.
As quartos são super espaçosas com telhados elevados e móveis de madeira.A vista fora Da minha janela era muito verde e calma.As instalações eram todas bem mantidas e muito limpas.As fotos realmente não fazem as quartos a justiça que merecem.
Em segundo lugar, e muito importante, o proprietário - um jovem local Benzilan que opera o hotel com a mãe - é excepcionalmente genuíno, genuíno e amigável.Como viajante solitário, ele ajudou a organizar o transporte, ofereceu almoço e até mesmo alguns deles do álcool local. Quanto Ao serviço, este Lugar permanece invencível entre todos OS lugares que viajo Na China.

"Room was small but ok for 4 pax not to feel v squeezy. The bathroom had a heater overhead which when turned on, makes one not feel cold immediately after a shower. Thumbs up for the nice fixture!
Booked the hotel for its newly-renovated rooms and good rating, with a private rooftop that has unblocked view of Meili Snow Mountain hence dont need to walk down to Fei Lai Si viewing platform in the cold morning."

Este hotel era bonito e de Alta qualidade.Os mobiliários e detalhes eram excelentes, enquanto eram realmente locais e únicos.Alguns hotéis parecem bons EM fotos, MAS a qualidade e detalhes não são bons. Este hotel é exatamente como nas fotos, ainda melhor - qualidade, qualidade, qualidade. Grande valor para o custo. É um caminhão de 15 minutos para a área principal do templo, mas é melhor desfrutar da natureza e da paisagem, e o pessoal vai conduzir você se você preferir. Além disso, há restaurantes a poucos minutos de distância, o pessoal é tão amigável e útil.

The room is great and has a good view. It even comes equipped with an oxygen machine and heated blanket. The location is convenient, just a short walk away from the Feilaisi Observation Deck. The service is warm and friendly. I felt very at home here. You get a discount when you eat at their restaurant too. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

Os chamados detalhes são verificáveis: 1️⃣ A saída do quarto coloca a porta, comparando a maneira de o hotel EM cadeia apertar UMA toalha Na porta do quarto, o estilo Mostra as diferenças, traz experiências diferentes, e você Pode ver que o loja é UMA Pessoa quente. 2️⃣ Quando Entro no quarto, VI UMA Pega de Alta cabeça para o Lado, e evitar que OS passageiros abram a Pega errada e cortem o cabelo inteiro (sim, EU tinha UMA lição tão dolorosa no dia anterior), indicando que o comerciante está pensando para OS clientes. Além disso, Quando abre a TV, descobri que há UMA alegria inesperada com VIP. Quando você joga um dia de cansaço, você Pode lavar o banho e ficar calmo Na CAMA para ver vídeo.
Sugestão: Pode ser colocado UMA pista de utilização Ao Lado Da máquina de absorção de oxigênio. É fácil para muitos turistas vir para áreas de Alta margem para mal entender que a função de absorção de oxigênio produz oxigênio e permanecer aberta.Mas Na verdade, é a acumulação de oxigênio Na Casa e a extração de oxigênio através Da concentração de oxigênio.

Just to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain.
Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather.
The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time.
One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit.
All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

We stayed here for three nights whilst exploring upper Yubeng and doing some of the hikes. The location is great with some good panoramic views of the mountains. Sunset and sunrise are both amazing from here! The service was good, friendly staff and kind people. The room is fine! We had a heater which helped a lot for the cold nights. We didn't like the disposable towels, such a waste! Also the room wasn't cleaned once in our three nights and we had to keep asking for toilet paper/towels ourselves. Apart from that everything was fine. Good vegetarian food too:)

Guest UserI genuinely think this is the best value-for-money hotel in Feilai Temple! Absolutely worth it! The room was small but had everything I needed. I booked it last minute after deciding to arrive a day earlier. It was very warm, clean, and the facilities were new. The service was also excellent; both the front desk and the owner were very polite. I would have extended my stay if they weren't fully booked today.

One of the most stunning views from a hotel ever.
Doodoo the dog is the sweetest and felt like a home stay, super quiet and calm! Comfy beds with electric blanket and clean room.
Cons:
The shared toilets,sink shower are outside, which is not ideal in cold November.
First day the woman working was so helpful and accommodating, helped me wash clothes, made food and answered questions. The second day was a different woman, who would not use a translation app to answer questions which made things difficult. Would not make a hot drink in the cafe for me and wouldn’t explain why and wasn’t much help on transport questions because she wouldn’t translate her answers. Unfortunately it stands out because 99% of people in china help you! I went to a different cafe down the road where people were immediately so helpful.

What sets this guesthouse apart from others is its convenient location - while most people spend 2 nights in Upper Yubeng and 1 night in Lower Yubeng, this guesthouse was conveniently located between Upper and Lower Yubeng, allowing me to explore all the hikes without having to change accommodation. The food provided was fresh and good, and the rooms were neat and tidy. Extra points for a western toilet, as many other guesthouses only offer squatting bathrooms. The owners always looked out for our safety as well, providing information on which hikes were safe to do, weather permitting. Will highly recommend this for its convenient location and great service.

Highly recommend this hostel if you want to meet new people in Yubeng! Foreigner-friendly food (I recommend the beef fried rice!) and service (one staff member speaks English really well and others are happy to use translator apps). The only downsides about this hostel is that the toilets/showers for the dorm rooms need to be cleaned way more frequently (there was always mud from hiking boots everywhere) and the walls are very thin. If this is something that bothers you, then I would recommend you book a private room instead of the dorm. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay at this hostel!

This room is rather pricy for what it offers. Rather basic room and toilet. There is a humidifier and a small room heater which doesn’t really help in the middle of winter. However to our surprise, the bed is electrically heated and works very well and extremely useful in the wintry cold. Location is not too bad as there are many restaurants nearby and the mountain sunrise viewing deck area is maybe within 200m away. Please checkout the Sichuan restaurant just opposite the hotel which would also be recommended by the hotel staff as the food is affordable and extremely delicious. Speaking of the staff, the staff was not at the front desk at check in however he did respond quickly via WeChat. His attitude is bad as though we owed him a living.
