We cannot complement the experience we had with the St Ives team enough! We did have a number of issues which occurred at the beginning of our stay however these were quickly rectified by the manager. Based on the scale of the compensation we received it’s not even worth mentioning all the details of the minor inconveniences we had as the resolutions meant our holiday wasn’t “ruined” and we weren’t stressing about the issues. As a family, we completely understand and appreciate miscommunications happen and sometimes things can be delayed. We went to the reception desk to request the minor issues to be rectified. The manager Christina not only rectified them promptly she offered mind blowing compensation which exceeded our expectations and we were blown away by how helpful she was. Dog friendly - The dog friendly rooms we had were fantastic, we did have to lift the pup into the apartment as he only has little legs and the steps were quite large but that wasn’t an issue. The club house and restaurant had dog friendly areas sectioned out, a luxury we hadn’t been able to experience at Trelawne mannor. It was great to experience all the onsite facilities with the dog as a family all together. Usually we wouldn’t spend much time in the onsite pub as it would mean a member of the family is left behind with the dog which isn’t fair as they’re missing out. So it was really lovely that this has been opened up here and we could spend time all together. I really hope this change is kept and continues as dogs are a member of the family Staff - There’s not enough words to express just how fantastic the staff were! Especially thanks, as mentioned, to Christina for being an absolute superstar. The bar staff were excellent in remembering our previous orders, if it weren’t for the fact we kept changing drinks I’m sure all the drinks would have been poured as we’d got to the bar haha! The gentleman in the shop honored a wrongly displayed price and demonstrated fantastic customer service. Although we had little interaction, the stripey team seemed really pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile. The onsite maintenance team were efficient and polite, with particular note to the hot tub maintenance gentleman who we saw most. So many people go into the effective running of the site and yes we had some mishaps along the way but we cannot fault how greatly they were resolved and the mannerisms of the staff - they weren’t stressed or rude about having to fix things they got the job done pleasantly. Propertie(s) - Our first property, a gold 3 bedroom apartment building, was lovely in itself! It was a nice size and would have been comfortable enough in itself for the week. The couple of nights we spent there were absolutely fine, aside the minor inconveniences we had at the start, this would have been a perfectly great holiday. When we were upgraded as compensation for the few issues we had, we were put in a 2 bed platinum hot tub lodge which we were all in
