Chocolate Box Dal Lake

This cosy place situated opposite ghat no.12 of Dal lake was our best stay in the entire Kashmir trip. Brilliant location, amazing view of Dal lake,modern amenities, timely service and above all the exceptional hospitality of owner Lateef uncle...this place delivers much more than expected.Booking is not available online, you have to directly call Lateef uncle and do the booking.A special mention to caretaker Rambahadur ji who smilingly caters to the needs of guests and makes mind-blowing egg sandwiches.

It is Well maintained and peaceful. Good ambience and spacious rooms. It is situated opposite to the Dal lake. One can make a choice of restaurants which are all at a walkable distance from the hotel.

Took advantage of the downtown Dal lake location to walk to dinner, check out a couple galleries, and have drinks. It was great. Probably the best place to stay in srinagar. Right in front of Dal lake and Shankaracharya temple behind, it provides the perfect feel of Kashmir. Best hospitality extended by Latif uncle during our 4N stay. Food was equally good and cooked as per our preference of kashmiri cuisine. This is a perfect boutique hotel for stay in Srinagar, extremely clean, all modern amenities, rich decor and perfect ambience. Highly recommended!! Thanks Latif uncle for making our stay memorable.
