Room was huge, but not comfortable. Beds were awful. Breakfast was prepackaged sugarfest. Good coffee. Expected way more based on reviews. Our room wasn't retro, just kind of warn looking. Gathering place was nice, with fire in fireplace. People were friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable night in a vanishing breed of lodge/motel! Helpful staff, adequate continental breakfast. Room was small but comfortable except for noisy a/c unit. Overall I liked it.

When we opened the door to our room, we knew we were at home! It was spacious, with plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy. The staff members were all friendly and ready to attend to our needs. If I had to say anything negative (but not really bad) it would be the super soft beds. They were so soft and cozy we wanted to stay longer! We will be back!

Couldn't have a shower because the faucet handle fell off. There were no blankets on the bed. Only a thing spread. We got cold.

Everything was great, except for a soft mattress in room 150 in which we both rolled down to the center. We opted for separate beds hallway through the night.

This is a 75 year old motel that is being renovated. The lobby is rustic, with a wood burning fireplace. Our room is new and very bright and clean. The bed and sheets are very nice. The furnishings are new, retro design, including a dial-style phone, with buttons! My wife and I are in our 70s, so it brings back memories! We highly recommend staying here!

Very nice room, love the retro appliances, lots of space and seating. I wore ear plugs, otherwise I think the road and heater noise would have been an issue, but that’s why I travel with ear plugs.

Stay here! We were in one of their recently updated rooms and it was really very nice. Front desk folks were kind and helpful and the continental breakfast was top notch. There are other choices in Springerville but, with the updated rooms, this is the best one by far 😀
