Quality Inn Springboro West

Not only did the people in the next room make so much noise and banging on the walls and screaming at each other, the carpet was dirty, worn and outdated. The desk chair was shedding and falling apart, sitting on the toilet was almost impossible since you were pressed against the wall, the shower was stained and filthy, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, stains on the walls and mold on the furniture, outside doors were broken and unoperable, I was not there even two hours before checking out and even after saying something to the front desk person, was still supposedly charged for one night.

Some details, like the room’s carpet and bedspread, desperately need replacing. There were holes and damage. Bed was decently comfortable, and clean. I got this room for the tub specifically and I was quite satisfied with that. Shower felt like it needed a good scrubbing and a CLR treatment. Breakfast was just okay. It was serviceable for the need.

The breakfast was extremely limited. We never had housekeeping come to our room for all 10 days we were there. The fire alarm went off 4/10 of the night we were there and they were all false alarms (Thankfully). Anything you need you are most certainly going to have to ask for. Our comforter had a giant yellow stain on it. However lots of stuff to eat around the property so that was good.

Staff very friendly. Property very clean. Only problem I've run into is they aren't providing the breakfast reliably. When something runs out it isn't being replaced for days.

First off, I got a room with 2 queens instead of a room with 1 king like I booked. There were holes in the closet door. Some of the rooms didn’t have a plaque, but instead the number was written in pencil on the wall. The complimentary breakfast was sad and pathetic. Your only options were toast and muffins, yogurt, or waffles. The cereal container was broken and wouldn’t serve. The waffle mix was fairly runny. Overall poor experience, would not recommend unless you’re only there for an overnight stay or if you have pets (but even then, do NOT get breakfast)

This hotel looked a step up from condemned. Our room was dirty and just dingy. The the floor of the wooden cabinet the fridge was in was literally rotten. The tub was disgusting, the curtains were ripped and wouldn’t close all the way, the desk chair looked like they had picked it up in someone trash on the side of the road. There was a used towel in our bathroom and the desk lamp was smashed on the bottom and dirty. The receptionist was very rude and not accommodating. There were very few ppl staying there and I asked for an extra blanket and he told me they had none. I asked for a different room because ours was so bad and he told me that our room was a nice room! He wouldn’t move us and I couldn’t have a refund bc we had already checked in. I asked to speak to a manager but she was no where to be found all day long. And when we tried to call the hotel no one would answer the phone. It was also very dark in the parking lot and downright creepy. We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else.

Good-water pressure, sizable pillows, fan worked in the bathroom. Bad-stained linens, shower head was a pressure washer, tub hardly drained, hole in wall, broken headboard, no boxspring, futon style mattress, busted lampshade, broken remote, you have to unplug tv to turn it off. No lights in the parking lot-very unsafe.

When we checked in the clerk said that our room had no TV. I asked if we could get a different room because we have 2 children with us. He said no and that he would give us a discount for the missing tv. When we got to the room there was no hand soap and there was old beer in the fridge and a old room key on the floor. So we went down and told them about the beer, gave them the key and said we needed soap he just looked at us and said “soap?” And we said yes we need some and he just said “oh ok”, propped his feet up on the desk and got back on his cell phone. We didn’t get soap and the beer was still in the fridge when we got back. The walls were thin. The phone was in the nightstand not plugged in. We went to the breakfast, that was a joke. Just cereal and a gallon of milk. Some muffins. Yogurt. The coffee was watered down. They had a waffle maker but it was clearly not cleaned that morning. The outside side door was broken and the pool could use a cleaning. And the ice machine was broke. This place is just trash needs some employees and maintenance. Just stay somewhere else.

Next to no breakfast options. Just cereal, bread, very small yogurt cups and waffle maker.
