Anelli Hotel

This hotel really does deserve all the excellent reviews it has received. A beautiful modern hotel run by a family who understand customer service and who are friendly and professional. Very comfortable beds, a great bar area and a fantastic continental breakfast. A very short walk from the main shopping street and Atkinson theatre. Highly recommended.

Just a wonderful hotel. Decorated to a high standard, the whole place was spotless. It’s a family run business and you can see they really care. The attention to detail is clear to see. The continental breakfast is very good. The coffee is free flowing and the conversation with “dad” was great. We will definitely be booking to stay again. Thank you Anelli hotel. You made our stay a real pleasure.

Beautiful, clean, elegant hidden gem. Wonderful staff. Room was small which was explained on the booking but worth every penny. £65 bed and Italian breakfast. Gorgeous bar. Courtyard outside our room looked inviting although we didn’t have time to use. Will be back at this hotel

A hidden gem tucked down a side street sandwiched between the prom and Lord Street. We stayed one night as my husband was taking part in the triathlon, an extra night would have been great if circumstances had allowed. The hotel has a small paved area outside which is utilised by the bar which opens the large doors if the weather permits. Inside everywhere is spotlessly clean, the rooms are very well equipped and I found the bed to be very comfortable. There was a birthday party in the bar when we were there; we could hear some noise in the evening but it wasn’t unreasonable and all was quiet by around 10.30 so no complaints there. My husband had to be out to his event before breakfast started so I ate alone. I chatted with the owner who was a lovely chap, he brought me a bag so that I could take the lovely breakfast pastries with me for my husband to enjoy later. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel, and would have no hesitation in booking again.

Immaculate hotel, modern, everything you need accommodated for. Friendly staff, location great. Breakfast lovely too. Parking is on the street, pay and display or there is a nearby car park which is pay and display too as there are only two parking bays at the front of the hotel. You can however drive further down on to the next street and park for free. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Southport.

Where do I start, everything about this hotel is amazing, family run & so friendly, the hotel is very modern & tastefully decorated using the highest standards, lovely bedroom & bathroom, probably the cleanest I have ever been in, bed & bedding top quality. The modern well stocked bar is really nice, plenty of choice, reasonable prices & again amazing friendly staff. As others have said the breakfast is continental but top quality, pastries, meats & cheese somehow suits the place has you feel you are abroad anyway. Thank you for a great memorable stay, will definitely be back.

Stayed here while visiting family in Southport. The hotel is situated on a quiet road near the Promenade and Lord Street, the main road in Southport. The room was nicely decorated with the added bonus of air conditioning. Nice powerful shower too. Breakfast in the morning was a continental offering, with pastries, meats and cheese. I would have preferred a cooked breakfast. Overall, a nice place to stay.

I have to say the decor is so amazing....our room number 3 had a garden terrace ...fantastic shower, hairdryer, safe,tea coffee etc...huge white fluffy towels....we loved the owner Roberto he looked after us so so so well at breakfast........ The bar is lovely and Roberto's daughter adriana was so fantastic she played all the music we loved..... The furnishings are all top notch.....felt like the burj al Arab... Absolutely stunning family run hotel. You can really see this in the detail and effort they have put in to the place. They have thought of everything. They even have a family room, so the kids have their own room in your room. A real hidden gem. Beautifully decorated and fantastic breakfast.
