Motel 6 Southgate, MI - Detroit

The ground floor room was great however the bed was not real comfortable but I did like the dining facilities nearby.

Bath tub was nasty blankets where dirty the bath tub was clogged with hairs so I couldn’t shower it was disgusting and it already had dirt on it nasty

The sink was clogged, the bed was not comfortable it felt very over used to where you were sinking into the springs. You could feel all the springs. It wasn't the cleanest and there was no shampoo, lotion or conditioner. And they do not have microwave in the room its in the vending area and no fridge. I honestly only gave them 2 stars because the staff in front were very nice.

I had to switch rooms because the heater and tv was not working and the second room heater took forever to get hot.

The heater was broken the weather was in the 30’s. I went to bed freezing every night. No extra blankets told that’s all they had. No extra towels. The towels were so thin. No coffee in am had to get my own. I wasn’t told about wi fi password until I called. The password didn’t work when I did ask about it. Just told that motel was being managed by new company. I was here for a funeral. The room phone had food and dust on it. I had to get Lysol to spray on everything. Personnel made no effort to explain what amenities. New management shouldn’t be reason to not provide good customer service. If I hadn’t paid up front for my three days I would have found another hotel. I hope the new management company trains their employees on better customer service. Don’t offer rooms with broken heaters.

The floor was so dirty that my feet were black after walking on it barefoot. I will not stay there again.

The room was uncomfortable, the shower curtain was broken, and I felt it was a joke to charge that much money and call it a room with a kitchenette and all it had was a hot plate.

I booked 3 rooms for the weekend March 1-3rd. Just to name a few of the issues me and my companions experienced. The floors were dirty. They were not cleaned prior to my arrival. The bathroom floor was so dirty, when I got out of the shower and stepped on the floor, I had to wipe my feet clean. There was no maid service even upon request. The mattress in all the rooms were old and uncomfortable. The furniture was not only dated, but barely functioning. The hotel houses a lot of monthly rentals occupants leaving the place to be loud, with no noise control after hours.

Terrible. The bed was hard as hell. Never again. I left at 4am in the morning and came home.
