Premier Inn Southend-On-Sea (Thorpe Bay)

Excellent Premier inn St Southend. Thus is one if two Premier Inn at Southend. It is about half a mile further along Eastern Esplanade. As usual the reception staff were very polite and courteous. Room was immaculate. Only £45 , a real bargain.

Lovely room. Clean and tidy,very comfy bed. Pub next door fir food. Toby carvery. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Spot on. Parking was good right next to the hotel. If you want to book in early you have to pay an extra 10 pounds. The receptionist was very helpful and booked us in with no problems

Whilst the lady on reception at check-in was amazing, friendly, professional and caring and the hotel, spotlessly clean. The decor and facilities do require updating. No air-con in the room, which I’d consider a basic requirement these days. The decoration was worn and showed signs of probable flood damage (bathroom). Dark wood furniture and brown/beige decor and fixtures. The restaurant, like many Premier Inns, was by means of a pub across the car park, which we didn’t use but only as we had other plans. Would I stay here again? Yes for a single night or too providing it wasn’t in the summer, the room was far too warm and the bedding was made for colder nights.

Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Our stay was quiet. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and seemed clean.The bed was comfy. Only fault really was the shower wasn't very hot and went cold intermittently but was usable. There is no restaurant for breakfast so we had breakfast at the Toby Inn next door which was good.

Stayed at Primer Inn for two nights the room was really hot and found it uncomfortable with trying to sleep..

Was a lovely location and parking was perfect only problem we had was the rooms didn’t get cleaned as we asked as we had our kids with us, when we told the reception it wasn’t cleaned the done nothing about it and just gave us some towels and said we had to wait until the next day!

Great location for a ,2 night stay next to the beach. Quiet area with a fab Toby carvery next door. Very helpful staff and easy check in. Large room with tea making facilities. There was a fan in the room. Very comfortable bed. Had a great night's sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location opposite the beach, with a very nice Toby Carvery next door. The ladies on reception during our stay were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. We had a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep.

Booked a last minute stay with family here and after a few terrible experiences with premier inn this was brilliant. Room was clean and ready for our early check in and staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location close to prom but quiet enough at night. Will definitely be staying again. Special mention to the lady on reception from Liverpool she was great and Very welcoming.
