Premier Inn South Shields Port of Tyne

This Inn is exactly like all the others we have stayed in from the booking in process,the staff attitude and the room. Love the Premier Inn business plan. Staying is easy, effortless and we decided to stay another night as that was done with no difficulty.

This premier inn is definitely one of the best and would definitely stay here again, would have no hesitation to recommend it to anyone visiting the area. All the staff lovely. Had delicious breakfast served by Valarie and Brook . Thank you all.

Hotel was great, the refurbished rooms were amazing, staff very friendly and helpful as always. Breakfast was average, the toaster was awful took ages to toast bread, and the man on breakfast on Saturday the 1st June was very rude and unpleasant, making you feel very uncomfortable. Had a great stay as always though and would definitely recommend.

Ideal location, 10 min walk to Metro train and then easy access into Newcastle City centre. Very friendly and helpful staff and always happy to help. One down side is there is no longer a restaurant at this location but there plenty of other options available to eat, Breakfast room was good but there was a shortage of croissiants and mushrooms other than that very good would definitely stay again. As always nice clean and comfortable rooms.

Excellent, friendly and approachable staff. Rooms refurbished and beautiful as is the breakfast room. No bar or restaurant but that didn't concern us. Towels beautifully white and fluffy, great low lighting in the bathroom for nighttime visits to the toilet preventing the need to turn a main light on, this not disturbing your partner or startling the eyes! Breakfast on a week day is beautifully hot, made to order with plenty of continental choice as an alternative and lots of drinks to choose from. The weekend was 'serve yourself' full English which was not as hot Obviously as made to order on the weekday, however, we left going for breakfast until quarter of an hour before breakfast time finished, so to be expected to a certain extent. Value for money and extremely happy with our stay. We had a booking glitch (not the hotels doing) and ended up being charged twice. The staff member sorted this out promptly on the day of check out. Thankyou. We will be visiting again!

Warm and welcoming staff especially Chris when we checked in just before midnight! Refurbished room very very smart. Perfect location for us revisiting our old home town to see friends and family.

Perfect for visiting South Shields . The hotel has just been refurbished. Amazing modern rooms with plenty of plug sockets and usb points. Lovely walk in showers too. Beautiful new dining area , lovely food. Just opened up , so only doing breakfast at the moment. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Will certainly return, very well priced too.

So, parked OK. Average check in. Room was imaculate, possibly recent refit. No Restaurant or bar attached on site. In fact, apart from Starbucks, McDonalds and Tesco there is not any local places to eat and have a drink.
