La Copa Inn Beach Hotel

Main swimming pool floor needs repair and itd be nice if they had a machine to make change to be able to do laundry since they dont have change up front at the front desk. The overall stay was great and its in a awesome location to easily access the beach from the pool. The staff was super nice and had great suggestions for the family to go eat and fun activities to do around the area. It was a awesome experience.

The rooms were pretty quiet, clean. the breakfast was great though breakfast room was very noisy. Would definitely recommend to friends

The cleanliness of this facility was great and I will compliment that staff for that. But the facility as a whole could use some updating. Our king size bed was very uncomfortable and you could hear the springs creek any time we moved. And we received very small and uncomfortable pillows for the size of the bed. We also had issues with the TV between the remote not working or it constantly freezing. And this was between two different rooms. After our second night stay in the room we were woken up at 6:30 am by the guest staying above us running around and banging. We were listing to them for over an hour before I called the front desk to ask them to tell the room above us to be quiet. After a half hour they still were running around, jumping and banging so I went to their room to ask them myself to be quiet. This happened at 7:50 am and ended up with the other guest swearing and yelling at me that she and her 4 kids were going to be as loud as they want. I reported this to the front desk and they just moved us rooms and we found out that they never contacted the noisy room when we called and complained. The staff seemed a little intimated to address the issue and after talking with other guests staying at the hotel we realized that we weren't the only ones that had an incident with these guests. The hotel is a cheap and that is definitely what we experienced, so this is a good place to stay if you're on a budget. If we were to visit again we would stay elsewhere.

Great hotel. Our kids had a blast at the hot tub and pool. Love the breakfast and restaurant/bar by the pool.

I was impressed with the friendly staff, room cleanliness, renovated pool and hot tub, delicious breakfast, and walking distance to the beach. What I didn't like was the fact that reserving a 'standard" 2 queen bedroom meant I was getting a view of the other hotels parking lot. Also, there was no sun on the balcony and I had to literally lean over the balcony railing to get a tiny glimpse of the ocean and beach. I also didn't like the undersized outdoor pool deck. When the sun was out it was overcrowded and had only about half a dozen lounge chairs available for sunbatheing on the deck. Stepping over and around people on the deck was common on sunny days. The other drawback was limited parking spaces in front of the hotel. The parking area had very tight angle spots that ran along a narrow driveway. There was barely enough room to open car doors when pick up trucks or SUVs parked next to your car. Also it was very difficult to see other vehicles approaching as you backed out of your parking space. In addition, there was no sidewalk to the hotel from the parking area. You had to walk on the edge of the long driveway with slow moving traffic approaching or exiting. Many people walked down the middle of the driveway which hampered the flow of traffic. And finally, the weather was not as good as I had hoped. The winds were very strong at times and a few days it rained or was gloomy. Also parking is limited around the island and out of state vehicles are towing targets.

The property was very clean. Staff was exceptionally helpful when you needed something. I loved the breakfast and the made to order omelettes. There was lots of choice every day for breakfast. I didn’t like the beds. They were very hard and squeaky. I think overall, the property is really just fine and I think the staff are exceptional.

The staff was constantly cleaning the hotel. We didn't require daily service, but asked for towels or kleenex or a blanket, which were all provided. The front desk, cleaning staff, and breakfast room staff were always very pleasant.

Excellent place to relax. And awesome employees. They were very nice and always had a smile. Although the pool area was getting worked on they found ways to accommodate and enjoy our stay. Definitely will be coming back to stay again.

Great bang for the buck. We could see lots of newly painted areas. Our room looked like it was recently redone. It was excellent! Jetted tub! Sliding doors to a patio area! Beach access in 2 minutes walking distance! We'll be back soon!
