Hotel Las Hamacas

"My room was $80 per night and for that price I would certainly hope for better accommodations. The room was extremely small, as well as the bathroom (you can sit in the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time since the sink is in oración your face). To add to the bathroom woes, every morning the shower wouldn’t drain. The kitchenette had no soap, only one fork and no spoon, although the room was for two people. There was never anyone in the office to ask for help. The mattress was horrible and worn out with permanent indentions (body slots). The lighting ****** everywhere. Overall the room reminded me of a jail cell. It certainly wasn’t worth $8o a night and probably no even half that amount. The only positive was the location which is right near “downtown “. But in that same location, there are far better places in town to stay. I’d pass on this one."

Hotel Santa Catalina Panamá

"We visited this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago with a group of 10. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on to the property. The staff is wonderful here including the restaurant. So friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and we had a well equipped small kitchen that was perfect for breakfast. They will arrange all of your activities and there are many including going to beautiful Coiba. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel and I can’t wait to return!"

"Este Hostel é realmente super! A limpeza dos quartos e o conforto são extremamente altos. A cerca de 50m de altura você tem uma vista única para o mar e a bela paisagem. A cerca de 2 km do centro da cidade, pode ser movido sem problemas com bicicletas que são disponibilizadas gratuitamente. A cozinha comunitária pode ser organizada com pessoas e com uma noite de cozinha comum."

"Wonderful accommodation in a quiet location with an excellent restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the outdoor shower! They can arrange snorkeling trips to Coiba National Park which is really the only reason to go to Santa Catalina unless you are a surfer."
