Guest House Relić

I had an absolutely lovely time staying at this boutique guest house on the four or so days we were in Sombor. The rooms were spotless, fragrant and cool, the airconditioning and wifi worked perfectly (separate wifi for the rooms and the garden), there was a good choice of international tv channels, and the shower was hot and powerful. The garden was very well-kept with a lovely lavender bush, and there were facilities for guests to rest on well-cushioned sofas in the shade, or to sunbathe under wide umbrellas near the swimming pool. Although the pool was small, it was perfect for a couple of people to loll around in, which we did a lot of. The location was near everything you might want -- the city centre, the buildings of interest (one of which housed our conference), and a couple of good restaurants. Most importantly, the hosts were charm, discretion and generosity personified. The lady of the house was warm and welcoming, and had perfect suggestions for what to see and where to eat. I would stay there without a second thought, if I were in Sombor again.
