Hotell Humbla

breakfast was 8 days the same; in general nice, but would have been great with some changes.

There was a bit of an issue in arranging late check-in, as the hotel didn't send us the door code after we had told them we were arriving late. We finally had to call the day of and ask for the information, but we had to text them again before finally receiving the information. After that, it was an easy check-in. The hotel is in a perfect location near the water and a grocery store and restaurants. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had no storage or counter space and the tub was downright dangerous. I understand that this type of tub was made for people who wash while sitting, but it was incredibly difficult to get into because the sides were so high and for those who want to stand to shower, it was basically impossible with the huge step design. The included breakfast was good with a decent selection of foods. Everything was delicious, most notably the scrambled eggs and the bacon and all the breads.

Cute little B&B in a neighborhood not too far from the city center. The room was comfortable and the 24-hour coffee was appreciated. Breakfast was only OK - not a lot of options. The big negative was the shower which was basically unusable. It consisted of a small, stepped tub, less than 1/m square on two levels. Neither level was big enough to comfortably stand in or turn around. It was actually pretty unsafe. Note that there is no one there after 6, so you have to get in touch with them if you arrive after that to arrange for a door code. With a non-Swedish phone #, that was a little inconvenient. There is also not much around in terms of activities, sites, or even restaurants.

Very nice property. Would gladly stay there again.

Mycket trevligt hotell, centralt beläget i Sölvesborg. Enkelt att checka in, trots att receptionen var stängd vid ankomst. Stort rum, skön säng, extra plus för kaffe/te-kokare på rummet. Mycket begränsat utbud av tv-kanaler, men lyx med två tv-apparater på rummet. God frukost med gott om alternativ. Enkelt att parkera utanför och enkelt att promenera till närliggande restauranger och affärer.

Vi hade en supermysig första adventshelg i vintriga Sölvesborg. Hotellet hade pyntats fint till jul och en riktig brasa värmde i lilla vardagsrummet. Rummet var stort och mycket vackert inrett. Personalen var väldigt vänliga och hjälpsamma.

Ett hotell som jag verkligen kan rekommendera. Vi var där för andra gången och kommer säkert att återvända. Allting bra,rummet, frukosten och personalen. Söker ni övernattning i Sölvesborg , bo då på hotell Humbla.
