I came for a relaxing mini break and had booked a late night spa package. From the moment of my arrival, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful and really cozy, the location is also beautiful and the food in the restaurant was amazing! The spa is very nice and the pools very warm. They were able to give me a map so I could go for a run and walks in the nature while I was there too. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return in the future .

Here you really get spoiled! Fantastic restaurant and very kind people ensuring you are always served. Outside infinity spa and a beautiful nature just outside really makes a stay perfect. The restaurant is a bit expensive but the food and wine surely is worth the money. I'll be back!

Beautifully located hotel with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice cafe in the garden for enjoying fika. Our room was small but clean and with good beds. The bathroom was very small and definitely needs an update. We couldn't open the window because of the mosquitos, an insect screen would be a solution. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The restaurant terrace was nice for enjoying breakfast in the morning sun. We didn't use the wellness facilities, we preferred a dive into the sea. Visiting the beach via a short and nice walk through the forest. Kalmar castle is only 30 minutes by car.

We went the week of June 12th for two nights. The breakfast buffet was quite nice and included freshly squeezed orange juice and a latte machine. But it was completely self-help. It had decent gluten free and lactose free options for breakfast but not dinner. The ceilings in the rooms were low, the rooms were small, and there was no air conditioning. The bathrooms are dated. There was a limited dinner menu, and the food was subpar. I would give the dinner a 1. My husband's gnocchi was seriously overcooked, he couldn't eat it. The spa was nice, but the indoor pools weren't warm enough. The massage I had was very good. I would give the massage a 5.

Amazing place! So glad that I changed my booking for this hotel. It is at the same time sophisticated and family-oriented, country-style and historical, lost in nature but only 25 minutes from Kalmar, calm with a fully beautifully functioning SPA Strongly recommended!

I don’t recommend this hotel.
Room was too hot, ventilator was not enough.
Pool can only be used if you go to SPA, it means that my 10years old daughter was not allowed to enter in.
Hotel is a bit far away from any other restaurant, so we booked dinner at the hotel. The restaurant services for the dinner was not sized for the number of people who were there. It was not well organized and it was slow.
We came back a day earlier despite having one more day there.

Fin inredning i en "ur all kritik" städad miljö...Wait, no, i en icke -stadad miljö/rum. Spindlar/väv, dammråttor (inte bara på golvet, inkl i badrummet ,men också på sänggaveln), INGET i badrummet städat. Vågade inte gå in i duschen pga fettet som hade samlats...överallt där.
Trevlig personal vid receptionen och fint område men detta inte räcker för en bra vistelse som kostade oss 2700 sek/natt.
Frukosten med speciell kost ... en annan historia som gör mig så ledsen att jag väljer att inte gå i detaljer här. Värdinnan fick ta emot mina "känslor". Svaret var att hon fortsatte med "sitt" medan jag fortfarande försökte berätta för henne att VI HADE SKRIVIT I FÖRVÄG MED TVÅ MÅNADER om behovet av speciell kost.
