The Castle Arms Inn

We stayed here for 2 night and would thoroughly recommend it. The pub and rooms are slightly tired but this didn't detract from our stay. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The welcome we received from all the staff was great and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here last night. Great place for an overnight stay. The pub has so much character and the staff are so friendly. Food is excellent especially the breakfast which was fresh, hot and plentiful. Our room was a superior double and the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in ever. Bedding was fresh and clean and everything was catered for in the room which was in a little courtyard behind the pub so it was lovely and quiet. Snape is a lovely little village and we will definitely try and return in the winter to enjoy the warmth of the many log burners and open fires the pub had to offer.

We stayed here for two nights and can highly recommend it. Comfortable accommodation, good food and very friendly service. Snape is a lovely village and there’s lots to do in the area. All the staff we met were great but thanks in particular to Tia. We’d definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely country inn. We were booked in either end of our trip so in all two nights. The first night they informed us they had a problem with the booking and fouun us some excellent accomodation nearby at the Castle Mews which again is a lovely place to stay. Back the the Castle arms where the food was excellent for breakfast and evening meal. The first night the owners gave us the dinner for the inconvienence of having to stay at the Castle Mews, of which we were very grateful. Upon our return again the food was excellent (and the beer). We even did a deal for some of the bar decorations (Railway lamps) The accomodation was extreamely clean with all amenities you require . All said very happy we found this gem and will be looking to stay again on our travels next year. Thank you all.

Lovely three days staying at the castle Arms brilliant food great breakfast cooked by their brilliant and friendly chef.The rooms are really nice and well equipped with all you need. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and will hopefully return next year.

Our third stay here and once again we were not disappointed. Great place for a peaceful break, but also a good base for touring the beautiful towns and villages nearby. We had a lovely walk around the village after breakfast and the locals clearly take pride in their gardens, well worth seeing. Comfortable, clean & tidy rooms. Good choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Couple of minor hiccups, which they dealt with very quickly. Highly recommend this place.
