Skiathos Theros, Philian Hotels and Resorts

We had the most wonderful week here at Theros. The buffer breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed these in the beautiful beachside restaurant. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The accommodation was spotless. The location was perfect for a relaxing break. Near enough to the town to walk in but also surrounded by peaceful restaurants and bars if we would rather stay nearby. The pool side beds were really luxurious and comfortable and the pool bar cocktails were amazing!

So many positives about our stay here: The breakfasts were excellent and the setting for breakfast is tremendous looking out to sea. The staff, they were so attentive and helpful. Cleaners cleaned our room everyday, waiting staff were friendly and prompt, reception were helpful Clean - the hotel is well maintained and high cleaning standards were evident The bedrooms. Beds a comfortable, washing facilities are good, balcony is ok. Depends on your room for views. I realise we didn’t pay for a sea or pool view but unfortunate our view was of bins on the street…. That said we hardly used the balcony so there was no point in us raising it as an issue. The shower room on our final day, really useful and also great quality The location, tremendous. Hard to beat… straight out onto the beach The sunbeds…. At the pool excellent, there was no mad scramble for a sun bed and the quality of them was simply WOW…. I’ve stayed in Greek hotels before with less comfortable beds than these sunbeds, they were excellent The sunbeds…. At the beach… this was the ONLY negative we have about our stay here. With a packed beach area there is no/extremely little room for laying any towels and therefore you do need a sun bed (which is fine and more comfortable) however as a paying guest of the hotel to then pay either €20 or €30 depending on the sun bed everyday felt quite costly. Over the week we spent the best part of €150 on sunbeds We would love to stay again. Overall really impressed, the important things for us were all big ticks and we thank you for a lovely stay. The other points raised is feedback for perfection rather than a moan.

What a gorgeous, picturesque Island this is. Our holiday was fabulous from beginning to end. The hotel is in a perfect location, in a quiet area and Skiathos Town was about 10-15 minutes walk where it was a lot more lively. You can walk to the airport to watch the planes land and take off which is quite an experience and is about half hour walk from the hotel. Rooms Our room 206 was well equipped with air conditioning and a safe to use plus a fridge and a kettle. There are 3 blocks to the hotel and we were in Theros buiding. The beds are really comfy, the best I have slept in Breakfast The views from the breakfast area are stunning and over look the beach and the bay. The breakfast consists of a wide range of different dishes to suit even the fussiest of people. It was so hard to choose what to eat but everything was fantastic. Staff The staff were amazing, we were made to feel welcome by Georgia and Eleni. Eleni greeted us every morning on our way to breakfast with a smile and a nice ‘enjoy your breakfast’. A special thanks go to the lovely Ria and Nausika who cleaned our room every day with fresh towels every day for the whole duration of our holiday, such a friendly pair and deserve a special mention passed on by the hotel management please :-) Tavernas We ate at many and found it hard to choose which was the best. We ate at Little India near the airport which was really nice and reasonably priced. Our favourite was 1901 and Mouria which was a traditional Greek Restaurant. We took the ferry to Skopolos rather than do any of the boat trips as we could come and go as we pleased, it was quite cheap on the ferry there and on Seajet on the way back. You can get a Sea Taxi to and from Koukounaris beach for 6 euros or the bus for 3 euros. Worth a visit. All in all an enjoyable holiday and if we returned we would definitely stay at Theros but probably would upgrade to the Cape block

Tolle Lage, nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt. Schöne und saubere Zimmer, super Frühstück und sehr gutes Abendessen. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption an der Bar und auch am Strand. Sehr bequeme Sonnenliegen, sowohl am Pool und auch am Strand.
