We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Rene. Our room, communal areas and pool area were all spotlessly clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. All of the rooms seem to have a balcony or terrace and have lovely sea views. The location is really good, less than a ten minute walk into the centre of town and ten minute taxi to the airport. We will be back!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, pool area was spotless and you couldn't ask for a better view. Breakfast was well presented and lovely to sit outside and take in the beautiful surroundings. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There was a kettle and cups & saucers but no teabags or coffee sachets provided😕 Fridge was a nice addition. Probably change the red curtains and bedding to a nice turquoise or light blue to add light to the room. 10 minute walk into Skiathos town but a steep road to climb back up which wasn't too much of a problem for us but if you struggle walking a taxi would be advisable. Would i recommend this hotel yes.

Fabulous stay, modern, clean and tidy with excellent facilities and friendly helpful staff. Great location within 20 minutes walk of the port and town and 10 minutes to the nearest beach. Fantastic views, relaxed and chilled atmosphere would definitely return.

The most friendliest hotel we ever stayed in. The owners are amazing and became our friends. It’s very clean and well looked after. Amazing views from the whole hotel. The hard bit is the hill to get there, but it’s worth it. We just say lovely.

We found a gem in this hotel, the best views of the sea and amazing food also, the people running it were super helpful too and we couldn’t have asked for more. Excellent. The photos just don’t do it justice, the views just make you melt into the place.

Our 2nd visit and once again we had a amazing stay. Fantastic view from our room (so worth the climb when walking back from Skiathos Town) and bed great quality so perfect 10 nights sleep. All the staff very helpful & nothing to much trouble. We look forward to our next visit!!

We stayed at Hotel Rene at the last minute due to travel issues. Excellent rooms and the staff were incredibly helpful, particularly when unexpectedly we had to stay one more day. Brilliant views over the sea and although a short sharp walk to and from town Taxi services are very reliable and not expensive. As well as the usual snacks available at the pool bar / café there is also the option to try Thai Street food...an unexpected treat. Andy

Its the view that makes this hotel, its breath taking. Very steep hill to walk up/down but only short walk into town so think carefully before booking. Taxis cost 8-10 euros situated at the harbour. Room was very clean had everything we needed, 20 euro returnable deposit for safe key and hotel tax to pay when you arrive. Some parts of the room were a little dated and bathroom took a long time to dry out as no window (room 404 ground) so had a bit of a smell sometimes. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, hot was not hot unless you were there at 8am it was cold so we just had toast every morning. We had lunch there once because it rained all day, they do not do chips/fries just to let you know. They have strict pilolicies for taking food at breakfast time back to your room like fruit. We noticed that eating out has increased, 2 club sandwiches and two coffees was 42 euros down town.....i guess its the same everywhere so you pay it. All in all was ok the weather wasnt on our side though.

This small friendly hotel was a great find. The rooms were very clean with good facilities. Lovely walk in shower and bathroom. Beds super comfy and individual air conditioning. Only 33 rooms so it was ideal. Location was idyllic with stunning sea views from every room. Plenty of comfy sunbeds and additional 4 poster daybeds which were great. Lovely pool. Breakfast was just enough. Continental and a cooked breakfast too. Easy walk into town and beach at the bottom of the steps. Friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't fault this place at all.
