"We absolutely loved our stay at Rocrita Resort in Crete! The hotel is around 1.5 hours from Heraklion Airport and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. I loved how peaceful and secluded it felt, and the views were breath-taking every day. The private beach was one of the best beaches I have ever visited. Our room was wonderful, and we were even given a complimentary upgrade to a swim-up room. We loved having direct access to the pool and being able to use it whenever we wanted. The staff were absolutely amazing! Everyone was so warm and friendly. I especially loved how they remembered me whenever I visited or simply walked past them. Their service made our stay feel very special. Special shout out to Kim, Maria, George and the staff by the main pool bar! They were amazing. The food was also incredible. We visited the Italian à la carte restaurant, and it was genuinely some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Once again, the service was excellent. It was an unforgettable holiday, and I would absolutely love to return!"

"O hotel é agradável com vista no porto. O pessoal jovem e cordial nos deu várias informações valiosas sobre o que visitar e onde comer. Eles fazem pequeno-almoço em pacote que são levados para o quarto de manhã. Pessoalmente, prefiro o pequeno-almoço de buffet para ter a oportunidade de decidir o que eu quero comer amanhã de manhã, além de se você está em grupo você pode fazer o pequeno-almoço juntos. Contudo, estou muito disposto a modificar os pacotes. Um pouco vinculativo para ev excursões o fato de o pequeno-almoço ser levado para o quarto de 9.00 a partir. Temos 2 apartamentos em vez de 2 quartos para um desconhecido na reserva, mas acho que o modo do pequeno-almoço também se aplica às quartos."

"Absolute joke of a hotel. We booked to stay for 29th July 2025. As of February 25, we started to see worrying signs of people who had booked for May, having their trips cancelled as the hotel wasn't going to be ready. I contacted the hotel reservations to be told the hotel will be fully open by the start of July. I again contacted them in April to be told yes, everything will still be ready for July. Today, 21 May 2025, I have received an email from my booking company saying the hotel is closed until 2026 and they are offering me a different hotel which looks nowhere near as good. Absolutely disgraceful, leaving it so late that we will struggle to find a new hotel to accommodate all our family at such short notice."

We do not believe any other boutique resort on Crete could be so special for the view, kindness, proximity to lovely beaches, Minoan ruins, historic monastery and the incredible details found in the artistry and art objects that envelope the resort. We wish we had planned to stay at Terra Minoika for our entire Cretan holiday as the slow pace and natural beauty, simple tavernas with lovely food (and again, the kindness and welcome of the owners) is our idea of perfection."

"Chegamos a este pequeno estabelecimento por acaso, fomos muito bem acolhidos pelo proprietário, muito profissional. A aldeia é composta por pequenas casas mitoyenas em flanco de colina. O apartamento para 5 pessoas foi espaçoso com uma pequena cozinha e uma terraço. O restaurante ao lado da piscina está aberto no meio-dia e à noite oferece um pequeno mapa bem completo e tudo é divinamente bom. O pessoal é muito amável e atencioso."
