Que prazer foi estar neste hotel!! Martina a proprietária é fantástica, super educada e solicita. O hotel é de uma organização, limpeza e bom gosto, fora do comum, Martina nos deixou super a vontade.
As acomodações são perfeitas, cafe da manha muito bom.A localização não podia ser melhor, gostaria que todos os hoteís que fiquei na Sicília fossem iguais a este.

My husband & I spent 4 nights here and were very well looked after by Martina in her lovely B&B. It is in a central location on the island of Ortigia, has been beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served in the elegant dining room. Martina helped us with recommendations for excellent restaurants and also organised a day out with a personal tour guide to visit the locations featured in my husband’s favourite TV show, Inspector Montalbano. Highly recommended.

Our brief stay was delightful; our room was spacious, well appointed and we had everything we needed. Our host Martina gave us a warm welcome, accommodating our early arrival. We were her first guests of the 2024 season and felt quite lucky to be there. She was very helpful with tips about things to do and places to eat in the area. Her location is great, just between the major cathedral piazza and the Archimedes piazza with the amazing Fountain of Diana. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful! It was easy to walk around in the area to see the sights and we would definitely return. We went there based on advice of friends and are glad we did.

This lovely B&B is located in the heart of Ortigia. It was immaculate , elegant, and beautifully decorated and the owner, Nastassia, was attentive and welcoming. The rooms are large and offer every convenience one might need. The breakfasts provides a wide array of Sicilian specialties and each was more delicious than the next. We drove into Ortigia and took advantage of the valet parking service that Nastassia suggested. It worked seamlessly and made our arrival and departure very easy. It should be noted that the entrance to the B&B is thru a door that opens into a building with other apartments. There is a flight of wide stairs leading to the first floor and Nastassia helped bring our luggage up. I was completely charmed by the B&B and would highly recommend it. I will certainly stay here again the next time I am in Siracusa.

If you are hesitating to book this: don’t! It is fantastic. The location is just amazing right in the heart of the pedestrian zone but the rooms are very quiet. The decor is done beautifully. Martina is delightful and very helpful with restaurant ideas and so on. Breakfast is delicious Parking is a valet parking about 100m from the hotel, and you don’t need your car while there. Everything was absolutely perfect -it would be my first choice when I go back to Ortigia

Have stayed in many B&Bs in Italy and elsewhere and Maeco is one the very best. Martina extends a warm welcome, has excellent taste and runs a superb operation. The location couldn’t be better and the B&B’s modern amenities are integrated beautifully into the impressive historic building.

I had a wonderful stay at Maecò Ortigia B&B. My room was really nice, confotrable and quiet. The breakfast was terrific. Also the two women who manned the front desk were very helpful. They gave me terrrific restaurant recommendations. They also set up a boat ride around the island and a taxi to the bus to the airport in Catania.
The B&B is in a great location. It is on one of the main streets with lots of restaurants and stores. It is also very close to the Duomo and the Piazza Archimede.

Fantastic service from all staff, owner very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Room excellent. Breakfast excellent- accommodated all dietary requirements. Clean and beautifully furnished. Ideally situated within walking distance of main attractions.

Fabulous staff. When my cousin broke her ankle on Mt. Etna they helped us secure another hotel for her with less steps. They helped with completion of trip insurance paperwork. They served us breakfast after their usual hours. So very kind! Be aware that there are about 40 steps inside the building to get to the hotel. Breakfast is from 8:30 - 10am.
