Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sioux Falls, SD

Very nice hotel. Great central location close in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Excellent breakfast options, we even got down to breakfast towards the end of the time allowed for breakfast and there was still plenty of food to choose from. Also the beds were very comfy.

The staff was great, very friendly from the front desk staff to the kitchen staff to the hospitality staff.

Parking was terrible, lots of cars parked for downtown activities and not enforced to be hotel guests only. Front desk staff was less than friendly. Beds and pillows were one of the worst I’ve slept on.

The only problem was that the shower had a limiter to how hot the water could get, which was set to a very cold temperature. It made for very cold showers

4th floor stay with a broken elevator. One of our rooms had a sewer odor, so our friends got moved to 2nd floor and had their room rate increased! Exercise room equipment was also not functioning properly! On the Bright side, Sharon was fantastic serving/preparing Breakfast!

Very nice hotel, clean, well maintained. The reception ladies were very attentive and kind. Walking distance to everything.

The elevator was out of service and we did receive a call the day of our reservation to notify us of this. There are no towel bars in the bathroom, so forced to only use a towel once and store it on the floor. Our sink drain ran VERY slowly which was disappointing. If housekeeping used it at all they should have realized it and had that taken care of.

Excellent stay, went to the bar and the waitress multitasked, did a great job. Will be back!

Decided to stay here again, since the first stay was decent. Not such a good experience this time. Had several issues with this stay. 1. Upon arrival, was not greeted as expected. No "hello" or anything, merely "I can help you here" or something similar. Basically gave my name for reservations, was given cards & paper for parking & told elevator was not working & I was good to go. No information for breakfast, thanks for choosing us or anything. And of course my room was 4th floor..just what I wanted, to climb flights of stairs every time I wanted to leave the hotel. 2. Reserved a suite, but got to the room & it was a double bed, not a suite. Called front desk & booked up, so nothing they could do. Was told to talk to GM in the morning. 3. No hot water, that night or the next morning. Would get somewhat warm, but still got chills taking a shower. Ridiculous & can't believe nobody else had complained or didn't have same issue. 4. Key cards had issues working. Had to try them numerous times before the lock would turn green & unlock the door. Seemed a couple other ppI l talked to, had the same issue. Hotel was pretty clean and breakfast was good. Lady working the breakfast are did a great job making sure food items were filled & tables/counters were clean. During checkout, explained the issues with receiving the wrong room & no hot water. Since I booked through a 3rd party, they will try to give a partial refund. So we will see how that goes. But as of now, doubt I will stay
