Hotel Fuerte Grazalema

Magnifique vue sur les montagnes. Service très appréciable et belle piscine avec jacuzzi chauffé. Petit havre de paix et petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec vue. Ne pas hésiter à prendre une chambre avec vue sur le jardin.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Heizung hat gut funktioniert. Bett ist bequem. Zimmer nicht hellhörig.

Absolutely stunning setting. The hotel, situated over various floors, looks down across the valley to the picturesque town of Grazelema, about a 10 minute drive. You are surrounded by towering mountains. Absolute peace and quiet. A real escape. The pool area was immaculate and has the added bonus of a Jacuzzi tub. Pool opened at 10am and both mornings all the guests were respectful of the rules. The bedrooms were comfortable, albeit a little small. AC, and a small balcony with good views. For environmental reasons the AC only works with the balcony door closed. A mini fridge and TV. We were comfortable but always like tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast buffet was included in the room rate, a good selection of breads and pastries (the butter was no where near by), lovely fruit but the hot selection was cooked to order. I understand this stops waste but too many people lining up for eggs and bacon etc. Hot drinks were from a machine, again many people waiting. If you like tea, bring your own t bags. We could get hot water from the machine but no fresh milk, not that I could find. Plenty of oat, almond, lactose free milk. Dinner buffet again was disappointing, lots of salads and other options but too many people in line waiting for fish or meat to be cooked. The second night we ordered from the bar menu which suited us better. All the staff we came across were super lovely, helpful and professional. This is a hotel we have wanted to stay at for many years, since I had a customer (back in my travel agent days) that I booked a weeks holiday and they raved about. We loved out stay and will certainly return. The location, staff and comfort outweighed the negative thoughts of the buffet.

Stayed for four nights with my husband in June as part of my 50th birthday celebrations! Lovely hotel; great location with a view across to Grazalema. We took a walk into Grazalema. There’s not a lot of shade on the walk but it was well worth it. Take a left by the pool and right by the cow (yes cow!). When you get to the main road just go across and slightly to the right to reach Grazalema by the Roman road. It’s a lovely place to wander and get a drink. Couldn’t face the walk back though and got a taxi. The pool was very welcoming on our return. Short drive to Ronda so this made a very good base. We ate off the menu a couple of times - burger, healthy burger and pizza - which was great, but the breakfast and evening buffets were superb and well worth it.

It’s a lovely hotel, nice room , comfortable bed, pool is fantastic but you’re brave to get in it, it’s so cold but hot tub always full. I think they need more staff , poor guy in pool bar was non stop and we found some staff, let’s say a little unfriendly / not interested but the lady on reception was lovely and made us feel welcome though ! Presume the view from the room is deliberately blocked by huge trees real shame as the view is amazing. We paid for the meal option although there is a restaurant 50m up the road so it’s a chance you take. Did not realise it was a buffet when we booked but overall both that meal and the breakfast were good and substantial Shower was poor , head needs cleaning it sounded like a mouse being strangled. All in all good hotel

Great value hotel with a lovely pool and nice balconies. Very quiet at night even when busy on Saturday night. Good food breakfast and evening. Also a great restaurant just outside called Mesón los Alamillos that is also worth a visit. We asked for a safe key and a kettle for our stay, the only thing we would have liked is some coffee for the room.

Enjoyable stay. Plenty of on-site parking available - including some undercroft (great if it's hot). The room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably spacious with views (through Poplar trees) across towards Grazalema. Good variety of food for breakfast. Yes, it gets busy with young families at the weekends, particularly the pool area - but that wasn't a problem. Would happily re-book if in Grazalema again.

All round fantastic experience. Everyone very friendly and helpful. The food and drink were lovely and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The pool area is perfectly kept and the view from the terrace for dinner is up there with anything anyone can offer, looking down the valley and at the mountains with the huge birds soaring above. We loved it and will be back to see you as soon as we can. Great value for money as well. Thank you so much.

EL PERSONAL DEL COMEDOR EXTRAORDINARIO, SIEMPRE PENDIENTE A TODO Y RESEÑANDO EN ESPECIAL A JUAN , EL CUAL ESTUBO SIEMPRE ATENTISIMO A TODO. LAS CAMAS COMODISIMAS, LA UNICA PEGA FUE QUE SOLICITE CAMA DE MATRIMONIO Y NOS DIERON UNA CON DOS CAMAS DESPUES DE DECIRNOS POR TELEFONO ANTES DE RESERVAR QUE NO HABIA PROBLEMA. PERO BUENO UN FALLO NO MUY GRANDE. POR LO DEMAS ESTUPENDO TODO.
