Its a perfect place, very kindly staff . The receptionist helped us with everything we needed. The sunset in the pool probably better than the one in angkor wat. The bed is huge and one of the most comfortable of the entire trip. I can only have good words for this place. Very recomended.

At first it was a bit depressing because of the arrangements for the pick-up. We were forgotten at the airport because we confirmed the pick-up information a few times in advance, but the situation still appeared, and I was a little emotional. I was very impressed with the hotel, but later they knew that they had arranged the status After that, we remedied in a timely manner. The service attitude was very good and very sincere. After picking us up, we arranged breakfast for free and checked in to the room in advance. The room should be a good one. The huge circular balcony and the bathroom in the room were very good. You can also go to the balcony. Everyone at the hotel apologized to us for this mistake, and arranged to take us to the next hotel's car the next day, made two glasses of juice, and personally took us to exchange local currency. The service attitude was quite good, which made us clear from the previous depression. The sound insulation of the hotel was a little worse. The motorcycles on the road were too loud, but compared to their sincere service and greetings, I would like to stay here again later Live. (When we go out, people in the store will drop off at the door, paying special attention to the needs of guests)

We were staying in what they call the 'Wow' collection, all I can say is wow, how they have got the nerve to call it that! The rooms look good in the photographs like all listings but up close they were shabby with chips out of furniture and wall covering coming loose (see pictures). It also had one of the hardest beds I have ever slept in! Also one of the smallest sinks I've seen in a hotel and nowhere to put your toothbrush etc., also a badly chipped tap. The swimming pool while looking great in their photographs was right next to an industrial unit and the paving and planters needed repair, see pictures. Very nice staff (although a little disorganised), the hotel seems to have to be struggling and in need of investment. We found this with other hotels in Cambodia, the effects of covid and the Chinese leaving during the pandemic has left places like Siem Reap almost empty. This had a positive effect for us in that the temples weren't crowded giving you better views and atmosphere. Overall not good value for money as we paid the same amount we would have for far superior hotels, we thought it was a boutique hotel but really it was just small!

We had the most fantastic Sokchea Angko Hotel, huge room, very clean, specious. Upon arrival staff at receptionist counter greeted us with beautiful smile and politely. They offered us early check-in and recommend us a good Khmer Set at hotel restaurant which is over look to beautiful outdoor swimming pool. At evening we take a 10 minutes walk from hotel to famous pub street and enjoy the dinner there. Breakfast is well prepared with many choices, then we start the 2 day private tour which is organized by tour desk. We had comfortable stay, enjoyed with food and hotel facilities. If we ever visit Siem Reap again I will definitely stay at Sokchea Angkor Hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plan to visit Siem Reap.

Hi we are currently staying here and will be here for 4 weeks in total, just visiting from Bali where we now live, although from UK. The hotel room and pool are immaculate, hotel is still very new, staff work hard to keep it that way. Anything you need Tal Channak operation manager will ensure he meets you needs. The Hotel is within easy walking distance of centre, pub street. Night Market. I would highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant is not currently open, however you have the huge supermarket across the road, that literally sell anything. Your room as a kitchen hob and a fridge. I believe that management are looking into getting pool towels and a kitchen pack , knives, forks ect. It will have been a pleasure to have stayed here and hope that more visitors will come soon to this lovely hotel Catherine and Stephen Bremner

I stayed at Memoire Siem Reap for two nights during my last visit to Siem Reap. Overall, it was a disappointing stay and I can't recommend staying there. It's an older hotel and really not worth the money they are charging per night. Liked: -Front desk staff were helpful and always available. -Decent location on the main road. Disliked: -Repeatedly locked out of my room by malfunctioning electronic lock. -Breakfast was limited and not of good quality. -Water in the shower takes at least 10 minutes to warm up. -Loud karoake late into the night.

We regularly come to Siem Reap and the Khemara has become our place where we like to put our bags. We appreciate the calm of the place, the large pool with transats, parasols and towels. There is a sports room and spa (but we haven't used it). The rooms are spacious, light and clean. Breakfast is extensive. And especially staff at the top!!! GOOD GOOD TO THE Khemara team

The rating is solely based on budget hotel standard. Stayed 5 nights. Plenty of mosquitoes and the air conditioning was not working properly. Unfortunately the weather was hot too. Complained and all was taken care well. Friendly staff. The room was huge, comfortable and clean beds, clean wc, quiet environment and nice pool. All things needed after a long and tiring day are checked off. We even requested for hot water, the staff provided us with water heater and cups. The food was ok too. 3$ for tuktuk to Pub Street

The hotel recommended by the little brother I met on the carpool on the poor tour, in the center of the town, is a small western-style building with a swimming pool outside. The boss is a foreigner and may not be a native English speaker, so the English pronunciation is not very standard, but he is very enthusiastic. Most of the people who live in are foreigners, and there are relatively few Chinese. Because I paid the money on Ctrip, I didn't collect a deposit, just copied my passport. The hotel provides pick-up or drop-off service, you need to send an email to book in advance. I booked to pick up, and I used a tuk-tuk to pick it up, and because that tuk-tuk might have to pick up guests from other hotels, I waited for an hour outside the airport! ! ! The kind of despair that I can't find myself after flipping through the pick-up sign is really indescribable. When I first entered the hotel, I saw many people taking off their shoes outside, but the boss said no, so I went straight in. There are basically all the necessary equipment and supplies in the hotel, except for slippers, so I have to prepare my own slippers. I have prepared everything by myself, so there is no trouble. Ask the boss to get the hair dryer, but it can be used until the day you check out. Because I was sunburned and needed to wear a mask, the boss gave me a large bag and asked me to return it to him after I used it up. The drinking water is different from other hotels. It comes in a small bottle, about 300ml, but the boss said that you can take it directly when you run out. I heard from the boss that people in Cambodia are not very careful in their work, so except for drinking water, used bath towels, etc., which will be removed or replaced in time, other things are not possible. For example, cotton swabs, I just use it up. Ask the boss directly. Then the four towels that were put on the bed, if you are useless, will always be left where you put them, sweat. The overall environment is great, and I had a good night's sleep the night I arrived. It is that the sewer is a bit blocked, but it may be a topographical problem, and it will not soak people. It's very quiet at night, it will close at about 10 o'clock. It’s important to note that because the surrounding area is where Cambodians live, the environment is very primitive, and there may be birds visiting your room. Like I live on the first floor, I will hear something similar to me when I sleep until 3 o’clock the next night. The sound of someone knocking on the door, not only knocking on my door, but also on the door next door, is a peculiar pattern, and it lasts until after 5 o'clock. The courage might think it was a ****, and I heard the culprit singing happily by the window the next day. I booked a room with breakfast included. Breakfast was okay, but the people who made breakfast were locals. The English was not very good, but they were very polite. Like my friend wanted a French toast, he directly served fried rice. It is recommended to order an omelette or bread for safety. The breakfast tastes good, and the omelette is good. We chartered a car one day and made two fried rice for lunch. But the taste of the dinner is a matter of opinion. There is an Angkor Supermarket at the intersection, which is very crowded. If the time is not up to the breakfast provided by the hotel, such as watching the sunrise, you can go there to buy bread or something. There is a vegetarian restaurant nearby, which tastes good, and there is a four-star hotel next to the supermarket, where the food is also very good. It doesn’t matter if English is not good. My English is not good, but simple communication is okay. I really can’t communicate. Just use mobile phone translation software. The boss will also use software to communicate with you. We rented the car through the boss, and the boss said that he would pay, so that we don’t have to worry about the driver temporarily changing the itinerary or bad service. Because it is the Spring Festival, there are only English-speaking drivers, but because the younger brother who is with you is fluent in English, there is no trouble. It is 1.5 kilometers away from the old market. If you are not afraid of dust, you can still walk there, but it is best to take a tuk-tuk. So overall I am satisfied, depending on my personal budget.
