Amazing hotel set in the heart of Siem Reap, a green and relaxing retreat, great staff who could not do more for us. The room was out of this world, typical Kapuchean, on stilts with a balcony. Restaurant was extremely good.

If you prefer small luxury hotels that reflect their surroundings, Maison Polanka is a gem. There are only 7 rooms housed in traditional Khmer houses situated in a magical tropical garden with a spectacular pool. Unlike many larger 5 star hotels, Maison Polanka is located in a local neighborhood so when you leave the property, you feel apart of the town. Each room is exquisitely designed by the owner, Nathalie, who greets guests warmly each day. When dining at Masion Polanka, you feel like you are dining in a private residence. The staff were available to meet all of our needs and helped us to plan our visit to Siem Reap, including a private tour of the main temples with an archeological guide one day and an off road bicycle excursion to the park the next day during which we visited a few less visited sites. We are seasoned travelers and were enchanted by this beautiful small hotel.

Totally unexpected - a hidden oasis - Stunningly beautiful gardens with traditional timber houses placed carefully amongst the trees and flowers. The food is superb and the hosts are intelligent and warm. We would advise anyone discerning to go there

Located practically in the center of Siem Reap, few minutes drive from the Angkor Wat, yet behind the wall in the tropical garden. Only three buildings, traditional Cambodian houses reconstructed at location for max. 10 guests in total. Fantastic owner and friendly staff. Tasty food for brakfast and dinner, swimming pool to chill out after visiting historic sites. In total - a paradise! I can't imagine a better place to explore Cambodia!

Stunning oasis of calm in the middle of a very busy SE Asian city. You step inside and all the noise just disappears. You even get giant hornbills coming to your balconies in the morning to eat the fruit from the trees. The staff are gentle and courteous and cannot do enough for you. They put on a Khmer cooking class one night and we all danced by the pool to 1960s Cambodian pop. The resort has its own set of tuktuks and getting around the city is so easy.

Heavenly is the only word for this hotel. It is as beautiful in real life as in pictures. Traditional wooden Cambodian houses are refashioned into elegant rooms with private outdoor space. The gardens are lush and full of birds. The food in the open air dining room was delicious. The staff Is just lovely. After long hot days trekking around temples, it was fabulous to return to this oasis of beauty and calm

This small exceptional hotel located in the middle of a busy city offers a completely relaxing experience for the active traveler. Spend the day visiting temples or shopping or any other activity and return to the warm welcome of the attentive friendly staff who anticipate your every need! Relax by the pool or have a massage. Enjoy your thoughtfully designed and artistically decorated room and the incredible gardens within which the traditional Khmer buildings are set. A joy for all the senses. But your memories will be of how well you were taken care of in this most individual of hotels!

A lovely hotel that sets out to do what all good hotels should - to look after its guests well. We found it did that perfectly, going well beyond the usual call to make sure our room (we were given an excellent one) was how we liked it, our breakfasts made just to our taste, and our stay memorable and happy. Beautiful gardens, kind and helpful staff, well-situated for the centre of Siem Reap, and accompanied from time to time by the gentle music of the monks next door practising traditional instruments.
