Of all the Hamptons I've stayed at -- and I used to stay in them for work weekly -- this one is easily the worst. Two reasons: ONE: Despite having my Do Not Disturb/Sleeping sign on the door, housekeeping knocked several times and when I did not respond, they attempted to open the door. The next day, when i returned to my room in the late afternoon, despite again having the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, they had entered my room and cleaned it, moving my stuff around (clothes, computer case, etc). I had not put away anything of value, and it was invasive and unacceptable. TWO: Every single morning of my five days, the breakfast room TV was set to Fox News. There is no way a hotel should have the TV set to such a partisan channel, given the current political climate. Despite mentioning this to the front desk several times, that a neutral morning show channel would be more appropriate for a hotel setting with a myriad of guests, I only got a shoulder shrug. All I can conclude from the above, is that this hotel is terribly managed and staff is inadequately trained.

My stay at this hotel was a great Stay! Breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Checked into this hotel last minute to visit a client in the area. Front desk lady was very nice and her name is Sunny I think? I will come back to this hotel in the future.

I am not sure why this hotel gets such mediocre to poor reviews. I was hesitant to stay here because of them but since the lesser hotels in Sidney get even worse reviews I settled on the Hampton. My stay was excellent! The room was clean and pleasing — did not seem “tired” at all as reported by another guest. The amenities were nice, the front desk helpful and polite, and the breakfast the usual hotel fare. I have to say I LOVE the digital check-in/checkout and particularly the digital keys! It was raining when I arrived so it was fantastic to park near a door, check-in from my phone and then be able to gain access to the auxiliary doors. Likewise, I checked out from my car. I also liked that I could choose my room when booking my reservation. The Hilton app worked wonderfully in all aspects. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

I’m not sure why this hotel gets some mediocre reviews. After pouring over hotel reviews in Sidney and seeing most got “don’t ever stay here” reviews I finally opted for the Hampton. I requested an early check in and my room was ready nearly an hour before that. It was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower, though not extraordinary, was nice enough to satisfy. The front desk was very nice and the breakfast was the usual hotel fare. I love the digital key access for super easy check in and checkout. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for your stay.

Table was filthy. Had dried food on it and sticky. Very visible. How do you not see that? Room is old. No digital key. Shower cap left in the bathroom from the previous customer. Tub is stained and not cleaned well. I picked this hotel because of the ratings. I don’t know who cleaned this room or not cleaned this room but they need to do better. Don’t know if I’d stay here again.

I never write reviews. After one night checked out of the Hampton and went to Marriot Sydney Town Place which is brand new. The Marriott is about 2 miles away and very nice. Don't waste your time or money at this Hampton.

The room was dirty and smelled. Curtain had a rip and there were cobwebs on ceiling. Bathroom toilet bowl was dirty as well as floor and shower. Front desk staff would not move us to another room. Based on number of cars at night, the place wasn't even half full. Do NOT say here.

This place has really gone down hill. The windows are all clouded over and you can't see outside. The rooms are shabby with things falling apart and it is dirty. The pool has been closed for at least 3 years now. The outside landscaping makes the place look shabby. Noticed the back door was propped open because room key security box did not work. The breakfast does NOT contain the selection it used to. If you have any problems the staff is unresponsive and can't help. The manager Michelle is useless. If it was possible would give them a zero rating.

My stay was extremely warm and pleasant after a not so pleasant stay at another chain. I recommend any Hampton Inn, but this one has topped the chart. It is clean, well located, and the staff is extremely inviting and helpful.
