Stayed 2 nights. Had room 5, with 4-poster bed. Nice room with good lighting. En-suite bathroom spacious with roll-top bath and separate shower. The bath was a real squeeze for two, but shower was wonderfully hot. Main disappointment was the bed - mattress very soft, and sloping - meant for not a great sleep. Breakfast decent for a small establishment. A selection of cereals, yogurt, pastries and cooked breakfast.

A hidden gem which impressed in terms of accommodation, service & staff. Beautiful rooms (we had the 4 poster), lovely garden area with pizza oven. You know it’s good when the locals use it too! Outstanding breakfast of locally sourced produce & the most helpful staff who are happy to give suggestions of where/what to visit in the local area. Will definitely come again!

Mouldy bathroom and bedroom walls very unhealthy. Arrogant entitled owner with nil customer service skills.. terrible pillows hard old bed. Grossly overpriced pub food. Nothing like pictures used to advertise. One wonders about UK accreditation for pubs ?…

Nice Pub and B&B although rooms are noisy from the street as well as other guest rooms and the pub below. So if you want a quiet place or are noise sensitive it’s not your place. The furniture is English standard and rather dated. Service is good and mostly friendly, breakfast is also rather standard. If you don’t need to sleep exactly in this village there better options in the Cotswolds.

The rooms are very basic and if you want to work at a desk on your laptop think again, the desk is for a brush and the chair or stool I had was so uncomfortable. Value for money absolutely not. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation for the money. If you want a breakfast early forget it as it’s not served before 8am doesn’t say that on the advertisement.

We went to this pub for our wedding anniversary. The accommodation and food were excellent. The staff were both polite and friendly and the service first class. Thank you all for a pleasant stay. We will certainly be returning.

We received a lovely welcome, and after a drink and a lovely lunch in the garden we were shown to our room (room 2) the bed was enormous and so comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights, so on the first morning I had the full English breakfast, everything was delicious, especially the sausage and bacon. We had the Sunday roast which again was really good. Second morning I had home made yogurt with compote followed by a generous portion of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, so tasty!! The staff and owners were so friendly, thank you to you all for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay again if we visit the Cotswolds.

Great food, great room, great friendly staff, rubbish weather! Obviously, no one can do anything about the weather, but the Wychwood was faultless. Having the fire lit, certainly added to the appeal with a lovely cosy atmosphere. We shall return!

The whole experience was above and beyond. Although we didn’t eat (it was late), the restaurant menu looked excellent and the people the next day in the next village said that the Wychwood Inn was their local and never disappoints. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had on my stays away and I was well and truly stuffed for the day. The bedroom was really nice and the bathroom was modern and stunning. I forget the lady’s name but she was really friendly and accommodated the fact that I needed to leave early and I wanted breakfast 15 minutes before the official time. In summary, excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again
