Basic cheap rooms, bedding and carpets we're clean thankfully but the place overall seems run down and a bit grotty, it is in a good location though, tesco is just across the road and it's 5mins through town to the beach, the carpark would benefit from designated bays imo to stop people parking willy-nilly, we struggled to park our truck because of this, All in all if you just want a cheap bed it does the job. The 1 staff we saw was friendly and helpful.

Tesco with in yards, safe car park. Secure entrance close to town. Everything u could want. Very helpful staff kitchen facilities v good. Would deffo stay again. Took train and bus to Holt and another to Cromer lots to see and do all ages. Took walks from Hostel very good directions

Yet again another warm welcome from the great staff at this brilliant hostel. Its perfect for the 1940s Weekend in town 5 mins walk from the centre bus stop and train station with parking. We found our perfect room with double bed over looking the lovely pine trees. It's clean and comfortable and great to have a self catering kitchen where everything works. Thank you Amy and team you are doing a brilliant job. Our cooked breakfast was a special treat excellent value Ralph had two helpings. Just a shame yha no longer stocks fentimans ginger beer.

& station. Self carering kitchen is very useful but a 2nd microwave is needed given the number of people using the kitchen. To say it can't be afforded is completely ridiculous!!!!

The positives: good location, clean bedding and friendly staff. The negatives: the hostel looks run down and the self-catering kitchen/dining area is far too small. Some serious investment is needed by the YHA. The gardens are overgrown. The staff accommodation looks almost derelict. (I hope it is better inside for the staff!) The kitchen lacks basics eg instructions on using the one set of chopping boards, and needs a deep clean. (The work surfaces were clean, but there is a filthy window sill, leaky sink, mouldy ceiling, grubby fan covers and exposed insulation.) We had a private room, which had broken glass in the picture frame, broken USB chargers and only one seat for two people. If you need somewhere basic to stay for a night or two, and go into town for an evening meal, it's fine - but it could be so much better.

Rooms were very tight , Quite dirty.The beddings werent clean at all.The dinner served was very disgusting left me sick. Rooms were very cold . Toilets were left in a poor condition

Handy for town, station, buses, Tesco, & sea, Very nice breakfast good value, not too much nor to little just the right times of being served. breakfast and a a supper Friendly and very helpful staff Bike shed was useful to store my bag for a few hours
