DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Shenzhen Longhua

Hotel was clean and tidy, good location for a short trip to North Shenzhen. The breakfast food choices was also good, there was western and Asian choices. A great bonus is that we were able to checkin at 12pm since we took and early train to Shenzhen and wanted to rest a bit before evening activities.

Good service, very generous room size, good view, Starbuck cafe in hotel, will visit again.

The Nico service attitude at the front desk is very good, very warm, the hotel facilities are relatively perfect, the shopping mall is nearby, it is also very convenient, the next stay will be preferred here!

Had a great time! Pool is not as big as we expected with only several lanes but overall it was great for our stay!

The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The room is nice and big with everything you need for a nice stay. It’s very clean and modern. That’s a coffee machine and free water in the room. The hotel has a pool and a fitness center which is huge for a hotel gym. There are fitness machines, benches with free weights and dumbbells. There’s even a boxing ring if you like boxing as exercises. The front desk and concierge staff were all very friendly and helpful. There’s a Starbucks Reserve on the ground floor and a big shopping mall next door with many restaurants. All in all, we are very happy with our stay.

I was quite disappointed with the service rendered by the hotel staff. I booked two rooms for my family to stay. When we arrived only one room was avail and the second we had to wait to be cleaned. We gave our number for the hotel staff to call us when the second room was ready. However, they never called so we had dinner and headed back to the hotel later in the evening. To our surprise the hotel staff said they tried to call but since we didn’t leave a local number they didn’t call after confirming with them before hand that it was ok to leave my Hk number. They separated us in another room rather than having us in two rooms together. Was quite disappointed when I booked a two rooms in advance as I had kids and the elderly travelling with me. This hotel is clearly managed by inexperienced hotel staff as the service was very average. Not the Hilton standard you would come to expect. Breakfast buffet is also not at a Hilton standard. Oily food that is left there for a long time can see restaurant staff lacked care and attention to detail. The hotel manager did come and apologise the next morning for the mishap and gave our kids some toys and biscuits which I thought was a nice touch and they did try with service recovery. If you wanted no frills Hilton quality I think you will be disappointed. You will probably get better service and cleanliness from their lower end sister hotel like Hampton Futian for example or even a Atour hotel. This is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Longhua district but you can definitely feel the substandard service the minute you check in.

The hotel is very well equipped and the sanitation is very clean Stayed many times still very good Luna Nico at the front desk of the hotel has great service! I think the Hilton Longhua Runaway is my no 2 choice!
