Lovely rooms, warm and spacious. Dropped one star as breakfast not included. The breakfast was more quality over quantity and only lost its sparkle as toast was on the same plate and was soggy. No I did not complain but did mention when requesting another plate. Offer was not made to replace it. Friendly staff which were pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely come again.

A really fabulous stay, close to the peak district. Room was beautiful, they had a busy Sunday evening and while it took a little while to order, once we did, the food was very good. The service during dinner was superb. The room was really comfortable and spacious, had a fantastic night's sleep. Will definitely return.

This was a lovely hotel with fantastic staff who were extremely friendly. I would definitely return. The room was very quiet and comfortable and everyone was very welcoming. The hotel exceeded my expectations and the building is a characterful old house.

I would have recommended this place a few weeks ago. I’ve stayed here at least 7 times over the past 12 months, but the last time I booked my partner became ill the night before and I emailed asking if they would change the dates, but they completely ignored me. If they had said sorry can’t do then fair enough, but to ignore a regular customer is unforgivable. So yeah, go ahead and book the hotel, it’s pleasant and relatively cheap by todays prices, it’s as good as you could ask for in Sheffield, but just hope you don’t have a problem, because I’m guessing they won’t want to know.

WOW what a beautiful place, a real hidden gem in the area! Stayed here for business a couple of weeks ago and was not disappointed. Rooms are superb, some very nice touches to make you feel comfortable when away from home! Breakfast was delicious!

Had a lovely stay here for one night. We had a family room and it was such a good size, the sofa bed was also made up for our arrival which was great. Loved how the room was decorated and the colours. We had an evening meal and the food was really good and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay here.

My wife and I stayed for two nights for a family wedding nearby. Lovely and stylish individual rooms. Fantastic breakfasts, and friendly staff (nothing was too much trouble). Thank you for the best welcome, on our first visit to Sheffield!

Bed was comfy but there was a long hair down in bed sheets because it got caught on my toes. Couldn't get coffee machine to work which is annoying when you want a coffee in morning and there was no granual coffee as back up. The shower comes out fast which can be good, only that the shower tray was filling up with water fast and I turned shower off asap because the water was going to overflow from tray. I stayed in Room 3 Hereford incase you want to check these things out. Also other hotel room doors banged which was a little annoying too.

The hotel was lovely along with the rooms, bar and restaurant. The food and drinks were amazing and well worth the money. The staff were lovely and very friendly at all times through out our visit. Checking in and out was really easy and didn’t take long to do. We were able to come and go as we pleased throughout day and night. All in all it was an amazing experience for my first time in Sheffield. Thank you The florentine for a wonderful stay :)
