Hotéis Rotana em Sharm El Sheikh

First of all let me say i'm a Huge fan of the Rotana brand in General and whenever i'm in a place if i find a rotana hotel i do like to stay with them This was my second visit to the Grand Rotana The hotel is very well kept and the level of service is still amazing except in the Main Restaurant The pros of the hotel - Excellent facilities including pool, HUGE beach with lots of sitting areas, spa & lobby - Staff including beach bar, restaurants & reception are all excellent & extremely helpful - Cleaning is top notch - Rooms are spacious and in very good condition ( especially the premium ones ) - Landscape is very very good with lots of green areas & palm trees - Night shows are very nice & interesting ( at the theatre ) Cons Unfortunately the food in the Main Buffet restaurant is still the main problem in this hotel, The Food is below average, and from other people's reviews you know that this has been an ongoing issue for the past 2-3 years, while the buffet is plentiful it is not of high quality, it's not about having 3-4 meat or chicken items & 2 fish items, this is not the point, the point is that the items all taste more or less the same, there is no point in having for example chicken breasts and then having turkey, the F&B manager can call this variety but in reality it's not, items are very similar in taste, another example which they should take into consideration, the pasta is very basic, the white or Red sauce is very light and watery and not of a good thick quality, also the veal/beef items everyday were the same look and taste with most of the time in some brown sauce, you already used a lot of meat so why not make it tasty & with real care ??! Lastly the desserts need some major attention, there is no point in having 7-8 different cakes but all with poor quality, make 1-2 with very high quality, 1-2 tarts with very high quality & maybe a nice umm ali or creme brûlée or something and people will appreciate it more, it should always be quality over quantity, one day make a molten chocolate cake ( people always like stuff like that ) and keep ice cream next to it, there's a lot of ideas instead of just having 12 cakes of low quality like it's a child's birthday, also fruits need to be more varied not just apples & oranges, ohh and please try eating the basbousa or konafa for yourselves before putting it out on the buffet, it's that bad ( not fresh & soft/soggy ) Please understand that there are lots and lots of Hotels in Sharm but only a very few that stands out to people, You should be one of them, you have to make QUALITY your number 1 priority ! Unlike lots of Egyptian brands you guys are an international brand so people look up to you & expect that they will have higher standards but the food really really lets you down Even if you need to have a bit of a higher budget for the Food & Beverage i think standing out and being on of the best especially in the food category will set you apart as this is a problem with m
