Parrotel Beach Resort

Nós apreciamos a nossa estadia no hotel, mas a comida não era tão boa.

The hotel is definitely not a 5 star but a struggling 3 star.Services are a hit and miss. We were told by Muhammad who checked us in that we were upgraded to the a refurbished standard which was actually not an upgrade but the beginning of feeling of being scammed.Hence we were wary of any interactions we had with other staff later on.He also was one if the worst who told is dial 0 for any query we had.The night shift staff was much better who answered a lot of our questions. The 4 bars which again as mentioned by many had at many times watered down drinks and warm beers from bottles.The worst of them was the one on the beach and the main restaurant with staff scowling at you most of the times. The food mostly catered to the local crowd does vary but may not be upto everyone’s taste. Around 80% of the crowd is locals who will push and shove at every go whether be it in the pool area or the restaurant.One if the main concerns I had was guests of their sister hotels also were there using theBeach area, heated pool and the jacuzzi which the pool attendants refused to address.Hence 2 days within a stay of 5 we could not use the pool or the beach.It basically ruined our holiday as the other hotels being cheap stays there were more guests lounging around.If we need to use any of the other hotel facilities we need to pay £12 per person which again is another scam. The animation team seem to be organising games or events for their own pleasure or to scam other guests.We were told that they were planning to go to a disco on one night and had to pay £25 per person.When we pointed that we had a your child and could not leave him along she got upset about it.My son who was playing volleyball was pulled out of the game by a animator because he wanted to play.Instead of getting people to dance at the end of the rubbish shows they had the animator would dance themselves.The guy with the bun head was the most annoying who physically was making people to clap hands.Beware of him if you have young girls especially when he does Zumba. The main pool wad freezing cold so could not use it but could lounge around.The staff at the bar at the pool area were the best always smiling. Could not sleep on two nights as the resort next door was blasting music till 3 in the morning.In this resort all is quiet so no kind of late entertainment. Some of these details were shared with the manager on the last day who I did not see on any other day.They could so actually make this place much better but i guess it will not work for them with the locals coming in huge numbers.

Facilities are excellent, staff extremely courteous and helpful and food is delicious with varieties daily! Here with family celebrating wife’s 50th birthday. We got a free upgrade from standard to premium rooms. Good value for money. Stay here has been good!

For my first time in Egypt, staying at the Parrotel resort was one of the best decisions. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly. Made me feel like I wasn’t alone on a solo trip. The amenities and architecture around the resort was stunning! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable with amazing air conditioning. Could not fault this hotel. Special thanks to Khaled for making my stay very enjoyable but also to all the team and staff there. Missing you all so much already x

I visited Sham El sheik for the first time with my family,Parrotel Beach Resort was recommended by my sister ,she spike highly of the place decided to give it a try with my family. The Resort is so beautiful, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The Resort is extremely clean and atmosphere very beautiful. The staff there very kind and helpful and there was variety of meals to choose from at meal time,very delicious meals. I loved the beach and the serenity there and it was definitely one of my favourites. In all it was a very beautiful 9 days of my life and would recommend the Resort and definitely plan to visit again.

This is not the first time I have come to this wonderful hotel. I want to thank the staff for the quality service, large selection of food, and comfortable rooms. I also really liked the animation program, all the guys are cheerful and lift your spirits. special thanks to Mr. Tito - animation manager, thank you all, I will definitely come back again! I recommend it to everyone.

Positives - Amazing hotel scenery, gardens always out making it look beautiful Coral reef was beautiful but they shut it so often because of the wind which is annoying Beach games were fun Omelettes were great Haggle the taxi man Negatives - Staff extremely rude. Felt like I was an annoyance to them even if I just asked for a water from the bar Food was bland. Didn’t get sick but just no choice what so ever. Beds so hard Never any re fresh of toilet paper Card for room kept not working so we would have to walk about 15 minutes back up to reception everytime. Fish restaurant was tragic I’ve stayed at Xeperience Sea Breeze before and it was so much better so I reccomend if your looking for a Sharm holiday, to stay there.

We have stayed in the hotel in March 2024 during Ramadan Hotel is situated not far from the airport – around 10-15 min in the car which cost us £10 as we used one of the local taxis. If you are using the taxi from the hotel it will cost you around £30-40. So its up to you where you booking the taxi. Lets start from positives: - Hotel grounds are literally 10/10 In the morning you can see lots of gardeners taking care of the lawn, flowers, pebbles - Amazing coral reef This was one of the reason we chose the hotel. The reef is literally breath taking. Lots of colourful fishes; if you want to use snorkelling equipment hotel is charging £3 per day - One heated pool located close to the beach; not very deep. Excellent for kids - Even though we stayed during Raman the staff was so really nice and friendly - Location of the hotel is great if you want to go to Soho shopping centre or Old Egypt - Hotel is baby and pushchair friendly - Shops outside of the hotel – overpriced, most of the Egyptians will try to drag you in - kids club during the day Negative: - Bathrooms are very poor standard and unfortunately they do smell! - There is aircon in the bedroom. As nobody probably cleans the vents, they blow out a lot of dust which accumulates on the floor. - Dirty baby chairs. We stayed in this hotel for 10 day and we did not have a day when baby chair was clean. Very disappointed from that as there is a lot of staff in the restraint - The food is one of the biggest let downs. Expect the same food every day especially at the breakfast. They may change 2 meals during the lunch and dinner but that’s it - Food labels all of the place. Allergies not displayed - Not suitable for vegans – not a lot of choices expect from chips and steamed vegetables - Prices at the SPA are the same as in UK - £60 per massage. After haggling the manger dropped the price for £35. He said that “English people are rich” so they can afford prices like that. - Entertainments: I think there were one of the worst entertainment I have ever seen (expect from fire show). As they could not find adults to take part in the show they were encouraging teenagers. Which for me it’s a bit wrong as some of the tasks required them to act sexy or take of their tops.

I was in the hotel from 1 to 8 April. The structure is very nice and well stocked, the staff is very professional but we were very impressed by the restaurant. my family and I were very satisfied with the friendliness and availability of Ali Tawila. he was really very kind to us, he made us feel immediately at ease and with his professionalism he proved to be very nice. congratulations.
