No. 2 of Gourmet Hotels in Shaoxing"I was initially sceptical when I read over 5,000 positive reviews on this hotel, as many of them had been upgraded. However, we truly had a great time. The facility is amazing, and we stayed in building 8, which is closed to the dining area. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. The dinner buffet costs RMB 138 on weekdays and 158 on weekends. The food was great, and there was a lot of seafood to choose from.
The hotel is quite close to tourist attractions, but be aware that taxis can be quite expensive. They can cost RMB 50 or more compared to the DIDI taxi . So, it’s best to order a taxi via DIDI or online rather than catching one on the street or in front of the hotel.
One place you must visit is Xu Shui Ancient City, which is the most well-documented museum in Shaoxing. It’s a walking distance away and free to visit.
All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We extended three nights more , and will definitely stay this hotel in the future."

"My first stay at this new hotel exceeded my expectations. The brand's quality control was excellent, and the hardware, decor, and room amenities maintained InterContinental's consistent standards. Adan and Joie at the front desk coordinated all my needs in advance, and the check-in arrangements were impeccable. Upon arrival, I experienced efficient and friendly service. The food and beverage offerings were consistently good, and every staff member was warm and courteous. The entire trip was comfortable and enjoyable, offering excellent value for money.
