Had a good and comfortable stay here. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the WiFi connection - not sure why but it didn't work even after the front desk staff helped to register. Had to rely on roaming data which usually gets used up before the day ended. Breakfast was a good spread but I sticked to fruits, green salads, boiled eggs and coffee - trying to avoid as much non-halal as possible. About 15 mins drive to textile city. Fair amount of Arab restaurants around textile city. I'll usually order for takeaway and reheat using the room's microwave.

Shaoxing is one of my favorite cities, and I always want to stay here for a while. This time, I finally chose the Italian castle between the sunny Tuscany and the petty bourgeoisie Xinchang Anlan. Let me give a truthful evaluation of the good and unsatisfactory things. Let's talk about the good things first: 1. The location is really good. I felt very comfortable driving all the way from the gate when I arrived on the first day. 2. The boss has good taste. The original flavors of Italy are concentrated, from the exterior to the interior. 3. Some waiters are still good. Unsatisfactory (prompted me to leave the hotel early): 1. When I had breakfast the next day, I contacted Ctrip to ask to leave the hotel early because the attitude of the breakfast waiters was really bad. Not only did they not smile, they did not collect the plates in time, did not turn on the air conditioner, and did not restock the milk after drinking it. The climax happened when a young lady at the next table screamed halfway through her meal because a cockroach climbed onto her thighs and ate together. 2. I emphasize again that I am very disappointed with the service of this hotel every day when I go to have breakfast. The service staff of the entire hotel gives people the feeling that they have no smiles and do not care much about whether the guests are satisfied. 3. The best choice for visiting Shaoxing from Shanghai is to choose Dayu Guantang. During the period, I went to Lu Xun's hometown once, but I was so scared that I bought some food and came back after 10 minutes. I decided not to go to Cangqiao and the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy. It was the most comfortable choice to just wander around in the hotel. Actually, I wanted to come here when it opened in 2017, but I just had a dog at that time. I had been to too many water towns around Shanghai and I really didn't have the interest to come to Shaoxing. Until I found that Kaiyuan Guantang was pet-friendly, I came here, and the result was really good. Even after so many years, the rooms in the first phase were not as dark and damp as I imagined. The rooms were very quiet. Kaiyuan's hotel management, whether hardware or software, service staff quality and cultural promotion, is still very good, and it is a solid and safe stay.

This is my second time staying at Shangyu Hotel. The receptionist at the hotel is kind and polite. They also helped me upgrade the room. The room is spacious and clean with complete facilities. There is also a swimming pool downstairs. The breakfast restaurant on the third floor is elegant and comfortable. The surrounding transportation is convenient and it is also very convenient to travel. It is the first choice for family, friends or business travel.

The front desk service is warm, thoughtful and attentive. The mattress is very comfortable and the breakfast is good. It is close to the market and very convenient. I come here often.

Nice hotel and in business area Reception staff is too confuse for booking but they help us to keep room same everyday without change room as we were booking separately everyday because our plan was not fixed Nice hotel in business area of Times Square and World Trade Center and nearby walking distance to Kashish and Jashnn Indian restaurants

I have a wonderful stay in Crown Plaza Shaoxing. I definitely miss the lovely queen bed which is so conformable and no worries about insomnia. I have to say special thank you to Doris for being caring and showing good manners . I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel next visit to Shaoxing.

Located on the 18th floor so take advantage of the convenience store to the right before you get on the elevator. Beautiful bright rooms, amazingly comfy mattress, nice flooring, big windows that take advantage of the elevation, smart TV, fast wifi and I like that the outlets beside the bed don’t require the key near the door: it’s easy to charge electronics when you’re out. Staff was great. Lots of Hellobikes in front. As for the negatives, this place badly needs robot butlers as I got sick of fetching my deliveries from the lobby. Only a toothbrush kit and comb for dry amenities. Breakfast was unimpressive but cheap. No coffee at breakfast. Overall I thought this place offered good value despite its downfalls and I’d recommend it.
