This hotel is perfect for those seeking to take a break from the usual crowds. It's a big property in a quaint village, surrounded by beautiful nature. Our room was more like a two storey villa, with the living quarter upstairs and dressings room, washrooms downstairs, made in old ******* style but with all the modern amenities tastefully integrated into the settings. I specifically loved the stream Infront of the hotel, taking a walk by it was amazing. A special shout-out to Murray and Dolma for making our stay special. Would love to come back here to experience another season!

Everything is tiptop!!! From the moments we reached Shangri-la by train, driver was waiting for us…fetch us to the hotel with the Defendar. The car was very very clean. All the facilities in the hotel was excellent! The architecture of the hotel is tibetian style. Many of the handcraft look nice. The view from the hotel can see the songtsam temple. High tea was provided, the egg tart taste delicious even it is winter. The breakfast had varities of food. The hotel included ticket to songtsam temple, even provided a free guide to explain while visiting the monastery. The shampoo and body lotion in the room was nice to used, especially in winter season. The skin feel very dry. (Hope that hotel would sell it online) The hotel area was very big, there are a lots of nice view to take photo. Even the hotel is big, they provide buggy car so you not need to walk a lot. All the staff was well trained, they served us like family. Very heart warming🥰 We would like to stay in Songtsam hotel again.

The hotel environment is good, relatively quiet, and the stay experience is good. The hotel lobby also provides hot ginger sugar water and tea for guests to drink for free to relieve the plateau reaction of travelers, which is very good!

The hotel environment is super good, the balcony is the Jinsha River, the room is clean and tidy, the hotel security brother is very good, the service is warm, the lights in the room and the corridor are too dark, the quality of disposable toiletries is not very good (especially the quality of combs)

The location of the inn is good. It is in the ancient city and very close to Sifang Street. However, this street is very quiet and no cars are allowed to pass through. It is very quiet! The hotel staff specifically pointed out that we should go directly to the People's Hospital🏥 for treatment, and not go to other private hospitals🙅🏻♀️. This was a kind reminder. We went directly to the People's Hospital for infusion and oxygen inhalation in the middle of the night. I strongly advise everyone that if there are elderly people in your group and those with poor physical conditions, don't rush to high altitude places. I was careless. As a result, I tossed around all night. I checked out early the next morning and went directly to Lijiang. The elderly stopped panting. It was really scary. Moreover, I brought the elderly here and booked an elevator. There are basically no elevators in the inns in the ancient city.

The room can be warmed up and you can take a shower. It is very close to the ancient city. You can walk into the ancient city in about 10 minutes. The room facilities are very new.
