Nice location within old town. Very helpful host/ staff. Complete amenities. Room was very clean and spacious. You can’t find the same at other countries with this value. Really recommended.

First of all, throughout my Yunnan trip. I would say this hotel goes above and beyond to make me feel at home. The host were incredibly welcoming, even you can feel the warm welcome just before you check in, the host welcomed with me open arms, they will open the floor heater in advance before your arrival. Located in toldtown of shangrila and its easy for you to get around the oldtown by walking. Overall, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! A truly unforgettable experience. They even provided a ride to the train station for FREE! Which was so thoughtful...Highly recommend this place for anyone that are looking to stay in the oldtown of Shangrila.

A Family of 6 from Malaysia: I traveled for 11 days and stayed at 4 different hotels. What I want to say is: No need to think twice—just book this hotel! You will never regret it. I highly recommend it, 10/10. To be honest, this is the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my time in Yunnan! I’m so grateful that I chose this hotel. I booked two rooms for 3 days and 2 nights, and I wish I could have stayed longer! The room was incredibly comfortable. The TV had many channels, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Even though the weather outside was -12°C, we didn’t feel cold at all. The room was very warm, the heater worked great, and the toilet had a heater as well. The floors were heated too. The room looked exactly as advertised—huge, brand new, and super clean! The hotel offers all the basic facilities you need, such as a washing machine and a microwave. But among all the wonderful facilities and rooms, the biggest applause goes to the owner himself! The owner is extremely kind and helpful. He arranged a day trip for my family to Balagezong, lent us jackets for free, and even helped us with our luggage. He greeted us warmly upon arrival and waited for us so kindly. He also drove us to the railway station for free! Drinking water (bottled) is unlimited. It was available at the corner, and we could take it for free. I left my glasses in the car we rented for the Balagezong trip. The owner arranged to retrieve them from the driver, had them sent to me by express delivery, and I received them the next day. It was so meaningful to me, as I can’t see without my glasses! Oh, and if you're Muslim, there is a halal restaurant just two minutes' walk from the hotel. The owner guided us there. There are also many places to eat nearby, including Mixue, and a convenient store. Didi can take you directly to the front of the hotel. It’s very convenient! I really want to send my heartfelt thanks and kudos to the owner for such wonderful service and kindness. They are doing an excellent job taking care of the hotel. I really loved it, and I hope to visit again someday. Wishing the owner a long, healthy, and prosperous life! Thanks so much again for your amazing services ❤️

The homestay's beautiful decor and stunning views of Dafo Temple, especially at night, create a truly magical atmosphere. What truly sets this place apart is its thoughtful amenities. Given Shangri-La's high altitude, the homestay provides essential oxygen supplies. Additionally, the heated floors and bed warmers ensure a cozy and comfortable stay, even in the frigid -5 degree nights. The staff at Banxia Time Homestay are incredibly kind and helpful. They consistently go the extra mile, using translation apps to communicate effectively and offering valuable travel advice. Their voluntary offer to drive us to the train station without expecting any compensation was truly heartwarming. This exceptional homestay offers comfort, convenience, and unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La.
