I was traveling alone with my 7 year old daughter and stayed here for one night. We loved all the help we got. All the amenities were very convenient for us and all the staff was very helpful. Selene offered my daughter some treats upon arrival and some gifts when we left as well as offered suggestions on where to eat that would be most comfortable for my daughter. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay wonderful. Hope to visit again.😊

We had a good time in the hotel. Warm welcome and friendly guiding at the checkin. We have been there during Christmas, the decorations was really beautiful. It is just a little surprising that I had to pay the full price for the Christmas market, even I booked the hotel. The room was equipped well and we felt comfortable. What was just disgusting is that we found hairs in the clothes cabinet and a nail on a table next to the bed. The breakfast was delicious and you can get everything at the buffet. What was for me the first time in this kind of hotel that you had to wait to get a table. This could be up to 20 minutes. This should not be and need to be better arranged from the hotel. If the hotel is overbooked than it should not be allowed to let no hotel guests to book a table.

Whenever a new hotel opens in Shanghai, I want to experience it. This time, I checked in at the newest luxury hotel on the Bund. It has an unparalleled location and a stunning view. Suzhou River and Huangpu River meet here. It is also a place where rich historical heritage meets modern luxury. It has a shocking contrast. On the left hand side, you can see the skyscrapers of Lujiazui in Pudong, and on the right hand side, there are the brightly lit buildings of various countries. It is very healing to quietly watch the Suzhou River flowing slowly and the boats flowing on the Huangpu River. There is a small iron gate on the second floor terrace of the hotel, which can directly enter and exit North Bund. I jogged along the Hongkou Riverside, North Bund, Suzhou River, and the Bund. It was very comfortable and relaxed. I discovered the charm of Shanghai from a different perspective. After five years of renovation and reconstruction, the quality, beauty, and service are all online. It is similar to Hong Kong Regent, but even better than Hong Kong Regent [color][love]. I would like to thank the beautiful lady Kay in particular. After booking, she added me on WeChat in time to help coordinate the room, guide me to drive to the restaurant, and estimate the restaurant reservation. She was very warm and thoughtful, which made my family and I have a very unforgettable journey in Shanghai.

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. All your staff from the front desk, doorman, bar waiter and room attendant scored very high marks! Great job! Special thanks to 小雷 for helping us with the aircon and room change. Thanks! 小雷

The hotel is located at level 11 or 12 of the building. Not all the floors belongs to the hotel. The staffs attitude is cold but helpful in some way. They also offer free laundry and dryer that you can use at level 12. For breakfast, you have to scan the QR at the reception via wechat to claim the breakfast from the vending machine. It is convenient but it is a struggle for those who do not read chinese.

There is scaffolding set up outside the hotel. It is probably undergoing renovation, otherwise it would look good. The room is relatively small but sufficient. It is suitable for the two-dimensional special forces traveling (traveling outside most of the time). The location is particularly advantageous. After all, it is very close to Bailian. The air conditioner should be optimized otherwise the sound will be a bit loud, which is acceptable. If so, it is recommended to prepare earplugs The facilities are very new

The first time I stayed in the Youth Hostel, the experience was very good. Very close to the Bund, the location is not said. The room is very clean. I can change the sheets and quilts by myself. I can ensure that they are changed. The front desk brother is also very good. Everyone has a small locker. You can open it by swiping your card. The side is the storage cabinet. A whole row is storage! There are also many storage cabinets in the room! There are also under the bed! Then I was lucky to meet the girls very well, going to bed early and not disturbing each other. Just remember to bring your own toiletries and bath supplies

Overall, the hotel was a really nice place to stay at. Clean rooms (despite some mold in the shower), comfortable beds, spacious area and accommodating front staff. The location is also ideal. However, we were really disappointed by the breakfast: There is no buffet, but rather they know at your door at 7.30am and hand you a lunch box (if you don’t open the door, you’ll miss out). They prepare the bare minimum, we each good one cherry tomato, a slice of soft toast bread and an egg. As for coffee, you have to get it in a paper cup at the reception area. Generally though a good stay.

Had a good stay at this hotel overall. The location is amazing. The staff didn’t speak any English and on check-in it took 15 minutes to get us the keys because the receptionist that one visa was expired and instead of asking us he got us waiting until we started asking if there was any issues. The breakfast was inconsistent, sometimes cold and some other times warm, and one day I had a pack warm and another pack cold. Overall it was a good stay.

Great experience! The location is within walking distance to the bund and nanjing pedestrian street. Everywhere is easy to access by taxi. The service was fantastic and staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We requested to change rooms for more space which were happy to assist us with. Breakfast was great with many options. You can easily order food online and they have a little robot that delivers it to you room. There is a small gym and laundry service as well. You simply drop off your clothes and they can wash and dry, and fold it for you. Very responsive staff. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Ji hotel has great location, right beside daimaru dept store and hongyi plaza. Walking distance to the bund. We stayed at family room (1 double + 1 single). Room is cleaned daily but only the floor, the bed isn’t made at all during our 4 night stay. They only clean the floor and replace towel. Hotel is non smoking but you can clearly smell cigarette smell in the hallway and bathroom. I suspect people upstairs or downstairs smoke in the bathroom. Free laundry in the first floor. Lack of basic amenities (toothbrush must ask the receptionist). Receptionists know little to no English, some are not very friendly.

Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

Facilities: The Internet speed in the room is fast, the TV screen is convenient, and the children don’t get stuck watching cartoons at all Hygiene: The hygiene is very clean, no peculiar smell, the shower is comfortable, Environment: It is very convenient to eat, drink and play around, very close to Nanjing Road, Service: The service at the front desk is friendly. When they saw us carrying a large luggage, they took the initiative to help us carry it upstairs. When we checked out, we even gave a small fan, which is very considerate.

The location is great, it is really only a few minutes to the Bund. It is simply convenient at this location. It takes a lot of walking to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to the Bund. There are a lot of food downstairs. In this big holiday, there are traffic control everywhere. It is really convenient to walk.

It's great. It's so close to the Bund. The price is affordable. It's perfect for budget travelers. The environment is also very good. I didn't expect that the youth hostel also has a separate bathroom and toiletries. The price per person for a four-person room is less than 50 yuan.
