Excellent location, we asked for a higher room and got it. The junior suite is looking old but it is clean and we slept well. Nice bathroom. We could smell cigarette in the hallways on several occasions although it is supposed to be non smoking. No coffee in the room and a couple of teabags well hidden. Breakfast not included in the room but too expensive to get at the hotel. Nice view from the room and 2 minutes away from metro station and from pedestrian street

Hotel service is good. Room is big and clean. location is brilliant across Nanjing shopping belt and the metro is just a short walk away. There’s a Macdonalds beside the hotel and KFC/ 7-11 across the street. We totally enjoyed our stay with Marriott.

Enjoyed the stay at Pullman Jing’an. The location is great, it’s five minutes walk to the Shanghai Railway subway station on Line 1 - just two stops from the famous People’s Square. Easy to take the subway to many attractions. The service at the reception is friendly , English is spoken. The room is compact and might not have enough space if you have many pieces of luggage. It was fine for 1 piece of luggage and 1 medium size luggage. Bed is and pillows are very comfortable.

The hotel room is a little old. I changed the room twice because there was a problem with the air conditioner, but the cleanliness overall is good. I have to say that the service is super good. Thank you Lily & Freya for helping me solve some problems during my stay. 100 points for service. And the location is 100 too 👍🏻

Very convenient location, a few minutes walk from Jing’an Temple station (take exit 10) and directly across the road from another mall. Lots of good and cafe options, Beaton coffee next door does very nice coffees and there is a cute little old school cafe next to that. The hotel lobby is very grand, the swimming pool has a sauna and steam room, which was nice. There is also a 24/7 gym, all on the 5th floor. The room itself had a nice view and was clean, with a comfortable bed. However, the most noticeable thing is the smell when you first enter the room, I believe other guests have commented on this. While you do eventually get used to the smell, this isn’t exactly pleasant and may be due to the old carpeting (and a need for a refurbishment), it is definitely not the fault of the cleaning staff. Strange as the corridors do not smell at all. The other issue is the bottled water tastes a little odd. Apart from that this is a good hotel in a very central location with good amenities.

The location is amazing. 10 steps and you are in Xintiandi. The hotel is pet friendly and takes a lot care of our baby. Own bed, toys 🧸 and even providing shampoo. The breakfast is rich and you have a lot of choices. The hotel staff is super friendly. 😃

I had an amazing stay following an intense week. Very stylish interior and love the room, especially the decor and functionally of their furniture design. Hotel is very close proximity to TaiKooHui shopping mall and West Nanjing Road. Would recommend to others if you’re seeking tasteful hotel with convenience.

We had very good stay in this Pullman. Well located close metro, shopping mall and Tizinfang small streets. Front office was always very helpfull with any request i raised. Especially Zhou Kang help us to find for us one specific exhibicionismus in shanghai. Also Thanks to him we got our room earlier and it really helped us to survive our first day after long journey. Swimming pool is good one, reasonable size, just bring cap. We also liked Executive lounge with good variety of foods and drinks. Breakfast server till 10:30 also helped ;-). I can only recommend this hotel.

From the moment we entered the hotel, the service staff have been attentive. While initially we were a bit disappointed to know that we have to wait for 2 hours before our room is ready (yet, we were given a temporary room to recharge, which was really helpful as we had tired children with us), all the bad mood disappeared upon entering our upgraded penthouse-level suite. Our children screamed in excitement seeing the “jungle adventure” - they were so happy with the colouring kits, soft toys and the brownie bed cake! The breakfast spread was nice and the hotel location itself is perfect. Not too hectic and has plenty of restaurants nearby. I couldn’t find the indoor playground, the ritz kids areas were just small spaces at Level 1 & 11 (when in fact I chose this hotel because of reviews of their child-friendly facilities). Anyhow, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate throughout our entire stay. Definitely recommended when in Shanghai. Thank you Portman Ritz-Carlton!

Very impressed and will definitely stay there again !!! Great view from my room can even see the Jing’an temple from my window. Great service and enjoyed the indoor swimming pool . A guy name Gordan even did an amazing job with nails
