Check-in wasn’t a good experience, but the hotel was okay after that. When I first checked-in, the room key cards I was given didn’t work, which was frustrating as the room was one of the furthest from reception. This meant I had to go all the way back for new keys after a long day. I just wanted to relax! Then the second room I was given didn’t match the photos on Trip.com, in particular it didn’t have a real window, looking over the dining area rather than outside. But when finally settled into the third room, the stay was okay. It was supposedly an upgrade, but it only looked like the room I had booked. The location is the big plus: right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street which leads to the Bund, both iconic locations that are great to visit. I didn’t have the breakfast as there were no spare seats, so I went to a nearby McDonald’s instead. The hotel needs to enlarge its dining area.

Service: 5/5 stars. Extremely friendly staff. The reception team is very helpful in giving room and meal information. The staff kindly gave us a Mingzhu tower view for our 2nd night here - it was a tough request but they made it happen! Thank you Jay! Location: 5/5. Located directly on Nanjing road where all the food stops and only 12 minutes walking distance to the Bund! Food: 10/5 The breakfast selection here is SUPERB. They have cold dishes like salad, hot food such as noodles and pan fried buns and local snacks such as fried rice cubes (?) Ci fan gao. I booked this hotel stay to celebrate my mums 65th birthday and the hotel staff are so sweet and organised a beautiful chocolate cake for us. Honestly, this hotel is fabulous and is worth your money!

What we love - its central location, cleanliness, a lot of food choices during breakfast buffet, heated pool. We just had some concerns during booking and check in, it was not indicated that our room has no windows but the reception just gave us this room without windows. Due to winter, temperature control cannot be changed so it tends to be very warm.

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. All your staff from the front desk, doorman, bar waiter and room attendant scored very high marks! Great job! Special thanks to 小雷 for helping us with the aircon and room change. Thanks! 小雷

The room is large and the hygiene is very good. The front desk upgraded me to a river view room. The river view is beautiful. Downstairs is the Xuhui-Huangpu riverside junction. The hotel's swimming pool and gym are great.

is a nice location at CBD. For solo traveller, the place is enough for stay, but the aircon very noise, and it will stop work at the midnight, especially damn cold at the cold winter. Generally, quite okay for me to stay, price is reasonable include breakfast.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were modern and clean, and the breakfast was fresh with a good variety to choose from. Regarding breakfast, more western options would be great. The hotel was walking distance from Nanjing Road shopping street, about two blocks away, entering near the Zara store. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and one could communicate in English.

The location is perfect. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is just downstairs. You can see two pieces of the three-piece set while sitting by the window. It only takes about twenty minutes to walk to the Bund with the kids. The breakfast buffet is very rich, the staff are very enthusiastic and have a good attitude. The room was very spacious and I didn't hear any noise after staying there for three days.

The hotel itself is nice, you need to know which building you are booking as there are 3 then there's a hotel around the corner with same/similar name. The biggest downfall is the aircon is set at 25degrees so it's like an oven in the room which makes for a very unrestful sleep, i was only there for one night so not too bad i did hear as i was leaving that if you are staying you can request a fan.

The hotel is a few hundred meters away from the Xizang South Road subway station, and there is another Home Inn on the road. It's easy to get confused, but overall the transportation is convenient. The air conditioner in the loft room is at the top, so the warm air stays above for a long time, causing those sleeping upstairs to die of heat and those sleeping downstairs to die of coldness. This type of high-top air conditioner is more suitable for air conditioning in summer. The room on the first floor is quite large, enough to open two 26-inch boxes, and there is also a washing machine! very convenient! But the bathroom space is very small. Moreover, the toilet was clogged. Fortunately, the room service responded quickly and solved the problem in time. However, the master did not pay attention and squeezed the toilet water all over the floor_(:з」∠)_Although the customer service came to clean it quickly, I felt a little bit Blocked hahahahaha

Every day, you can see the queue at the side door of the No. 1 Food Store to buy freshly baked butterfly pastries, and smell the aroma of baking cream cheese. 環境一般般，住在15樓，感覺濕氣特別重，一進門就感覺濕氣撲來。帶孩子看醫生的，離九院要十幾二十分鐘的路。整體還行吧。就是退房的時候發現自己帶的小鍋電線沒拿，打電話給前台直接一句保潔阿姨沒報備就是沒有了！！我強調了下，就在電視那裡，電視機線是黑的，我的線也是黑，萬一保潔的沒注意看呢？？直接一句沒報備就給打發了。無語。。。
