Good hotel in general! Location is good, nice area of Shanghai near West Nanjing Road. The Metro is in walking distance, though kind of far (the closest is actually Changping Road on Line 7, not West Nanjing Road). The rooms were very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. But some of the towels had holes in them. There isn’t a lift, though the staff will help you with your luggage if you want. Glad we chose this hotel all told.

The hotel location is absolutely great. It’s next to a variety of western restaurants and not too far from the metro and railway station. The downside of the hotel? It’s extremely small and the bathroom is not practical, it gets slippery because of where the shower drain is placed. The towels are really old and worn out, there was a hole in the roof for a lightbulb that was removed or never put in. The window couldn’t close and therefore it was noisy. Not too bad but there’s room for improvement.

Was exactly what I expected when I chose this no frills hotel that is very reasonable. It’s next to / above a bar called the Shed. So some rooms could be loud. I was on third floor so it wasn’t. The room is very compact which again is all I wanted to pay for. Will stay again. One thing to note is that I could hear my neighbors talking on the other side of the wall - presumably the head of their bed was opposite the wall from the head of my bed.

I have no choice but to give them high scores in the named categories, but I want to warn you that none of their rooms have windows that face the outside world, and they are also quite small (but, you guys know what 15 sqm means, in advance).
The hotel is directly above a bar (the Shed). This fact didn't cause any noise problems for me (at all, and I am a light sleeper).
The staff is very good.
I suppose I can recommend it if you are into the bars, maybe for Friday and Saturday nights, only.
