The hotel was clean the service was good. It didn't take the long to clean own I added another night

I was checking in without a reservation the after waiting in line of other customers. Their total bill was $107, when it was my turn I was given a room rate before tax off $117. When I mentioned that the previous customer charge was lower the hostess gave me the same rate but with quite an attitude. When I got into my room I saw a bug crawling quite fast on the floor near the bathroom. Killed it thinking not much of it, but then found another and after I killed it scanned for identification it was a cockroach nymph!!!

Above average for an Econo Lodge. Fairly clean. Good location relative to a couple of restaurants. Staff were great - very friendly. I noticed that a listed amenity is free breakfast - didn't see that. There is a Bob Evans within a 2 minute walk, and a Mexican restaurant on-premise (though not part of the Econo Lodge. The facility is a bit dated on appearance, so could really use an update. I would stay again.

Hello In last 4 years I stayed at this property more than 10 times since my daughter went to Bucknell University. I booked April 6 but since I am a cancer patient and I was urgently scheduled for a chemo treatment on the same day I tried to cancel and reschedule my booking. For whole one week I tried with the front desk and ********** to get a refund or reschedule the stay on May 12. The manager clearly said first that he is willing to do the change but ********** will not. But if they speak to him and agrees to waive the commission he will do that change. On April 3 I spent 4 hours on chat with ********** who tried every way possible to may the change., But the manager started lying and tried all way possible to make this thing difficult as much as he could. The agent on the chat told me honestly I have never seen a hotel making things so difficult before. The manager first offered me to reschedule. I agreed . Then he said he will charge me $ 30 USD more. I agreed. Then again he said sorry we have to add $ 24 penalty to it. I even agreed to that. Then he came back and said no he will take the full $107 and then recharge me for the next booking $ 152. This clearly shows how dishonest he is. I am wondering if the owner of the hotel knows that these things are going on in the hotel. I tried to call and get the manager call me back but from April 3 to April 4 ( 5 pm) he was so busy that he could not receive my call or make a call back. I was supposed to visit on May 12 and would have stayed here but of course I will rather pay more but wont book this place again. This is really pathetic how they treat their guests. On top of this the rooms were always dusty, washrooms are old and in terrible condition but never complained because we used just spend few hours at night and left every time.

First, it’s very difficult to find the entrance to the office because it’s on the side. The room was very basic and the blanket on the bed was about as thin as it gets along with the sheets. - I looked for another blanket, but there wasn’t any and I was cold all night. I thought the room was clean until I found hair all over the bathroom floor. For one night it was okay but could have been better.

It wasn't ALL bad, but it definitely needs improvements. Hoping the new management is up to the task and that they can bring this hotel back to its old glory days. Get a suite if you get anything here-- super clean. That said, the mattress/wall stunk of not sure what. Many of the rooms just plain stink even though the maid has the rooms cleaned well so it must be in the walls or air conditioner or system from bad hotel guests. The laundry mat is yucky -- saw a guy in there with his belly hanging out sleeping in the laundry mat so I drove to a local laundromat. Smelled **** coming from the back of the hotel desk lobby in the late afternoon. The good: the management and maid were very helpful and kind and the food at the adjoining Mexican restaurant El Torito, looked like a little dive but the food was AMAZING. The location of the hotel is excellent -- near most main activities and attractions. If you book here, ask to see a room FIRST. Feel sorry for new management- they have their work cut out for them. If they could just get the smell out, and update and bring in a nicer class of people, it would be well worth it.

I understand that, when I chose budget lodging I would not get bells and whistles, but I should have sprung for something a little better than this. This hotel is maybe on par with a homeless shelter. A couple positives about the stay. First, the front desk staff at check in was friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool, which looked clean enough. The property itself was run down. Weeds everywhere, which is a non issue but made the building look worse. There were several shady people wandering around, particularly in front of my room. Upon walking into the room, it didn’t look overly clean. The smell wasn’t great, it was a stale dirty smell. We turned the AC on to clean it out and it made a dent in the smell, but still it was not great. The floors were dirty, there was dust and hair everywhere. Holes in the walls, broken doors, you name it. I washed my hands and realized there was one bath towel, and one bath mat and nothing else, no washcloth, no hand towel, nothing. We had 4 people in a double queen room, so this made no sense. The beds were hard, uncomfortable, and NOISY. The worst part of the entire trip was the other patrons of the hotel. We returned back around 10pm and there was a party in the parking lot, right next to my car. There were people around the area drinking and smoking ****. There was a LOUD party outside of my room until I finally called the front desk to ask them to do something, around 12:30am-1. The party slowed down but then started back up shortly thereafter. I wanted to pack up, leave and find another hotel but was actually FEARFUL of walking out of my room. Checkout was non eventful, but the staff at the desk was not friendly, nor did he ask how my stay was. I understand why. I will avoid all Econolodges from this point on, and likely all properties in the Choice hotel group. If they haven’t shut this place down yet, I don’t believe they understood comfort or customer service.

Stayed here when dropping my daughter off for college. I’ve stayed here before and new it wasn’t the best but was on a budget. Well it was my last. The room we received was horrible. It smelled of smoke and the blanket had a cigarette burn in it. Even when I mentioned this to the woman working the front desk she informed me that it was a non smoking room and the smoke came from another room. We stayed because I knew that there was not another place available. To fit my budget.
