Disappointing Experience at Mardhiyyah Hotel I recently stayed at Mardhiyyah Hotel Shah Alam, and unfortunately, I was left quite disappointed with my experience. Upon checking in, I found a tin of Coke left on the table in my room. When I called housekeeping, they simply came and took it away without even apologizing or offering to change the room. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know this is not acceptable service. Additionally, our room did not include breakfast, so we paid RM50 per person. However, the breakfast service was subpar. Despite there not being many guests at the time, it took more than half an hour to refill the nasi lemak, and other food items weren’t topped up at all. I felt like I was paying RM50 for very little in return. When I approached a waitress (middle-aged, free hair, wearing glasses) to inquire about the delays, she completely ignored me. After I mentioned that I had paid RM50, she continued to disregard me and instead talked to the other waitstaff, who all stared at me. It was a truly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I believe the general manager of Mardhiyyah Hotel needs to review staff training, especially in customer service, and ensure that food replenishment is timely. This experience was not up to the standard I expected, and I hope the management addresses these issues. Here are some pictures of the Coke in the room and the empty trays during breakfast.

Reception and other hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Was being told that my room was being upgrade to Executive Club room which bring my family a lot of surprise and joyfulness. Room was spacious and bathtub was superb. Swimming pool is fantastic, my daughter love it very much. Buffet breakfast was good but still has room to improve. Overall i would recommend to have a short staycation here.

Second time stay in this hotel. Location-wise this hotel is in the heart of Shah Alam. I even got a room with the Blue Mosque view. So breathtaking. At first, the bathtub in our room was out of order. We reported to the receptionist and they quickly respond and sent their technician to fix it. But since the problem needed longer effort and time to be fixed, they offered us to move to a new room. The staffs were efficient and attentive. Food, shops and restaurants are easy access from this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to the traveller who come to visit Shah Alam.

1-Night Staycation at Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie Recently did a last-minute staycation with my husband to celebrate his birthday, and we decided to go just outside KL. Here's a quick review: Check-in time: 3pm. Check-out time: 12noon. RM100 deposit required at check-in. Free parking (just validate your Touch ‘n Go card whenever you exit). Room was clean, with a comfy double bed (1.5m wide) and sofa bed. Separate toilet and shower area, and if you need amenities like a toothbrush, just call the staff. Has a connecting room option. Limited TV channels, but the quality’s clear. In-room dining menu is on a TV channel!. We skipped breakfast to sleep in and recharge before picking up the kids. Definitely a relaxing spot for a quick getaway!

My fourth time stay here, this time for my daughter birthday staycation. Love everything about this hotel. They really take note with my remarks, my daughter was so happy. Thanks again for your concern.

We stayed at Best Western on my son's 10th birthday & mother's day weekend. We had an amazing time. The front desk staff, Azhan granted my request for getting a room near the lift due to my 70 yrs old mom's unability to walk far. What an awesome gesture!. My son & I had a great time at the free entrance Waterworld. All of us really enjoyed the buffet breakfast spread. There were various food available, nasi kerabu w ayam percik, roti canai, nasi lemak, dimsum, waffle w choc & ice cream, omelette, fresh pastries etc etc. I think the breakfast buffet was the best in Selangor. Thank you Best Western.

My stay at the hotel was just nice. While it had free parking and was conveniently located near my meeting place, there were several issues. The water pressure was slow, and the glass in the bathroom was see-through, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a smoking smell coming from other rooms, which was unpleasant.

This is one of the best hotels for a working trip if you are looking for a spacious bedroom suite. The size is approximately 600 sq feet. The room is cosy and clean. It feels like home.

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Everything is good, unfortunately is outdoor car park but is free and park at your own risk. During this rainy season, is quite headache and Hotel didn't provide services with the help of that, while we arrived have no any attendant provide any service. They're kept standing there and welcome arriving 😅 Love the swimming pool and the environment, but hope the management can enhanced the cleanliness of the swimming pool.

I checked in yesterday and they have a problem with internet for the whole day so i am unable to done my work. And for today they only replaced one towel in my room. I called to the reception staff asking for towel, she said okay. After 5 minutes, a guy from reception give a call and mention they don’t have stock for the towel!! How can it be?? I called back to the reception, a lady pick up my call and she said okay she will send it up. Thanks to her. So the question here, what is happening with that guy actually??? 1st there is no internet connection on the first day, lucky the second day it back to normal. 2nd you guys didn’t replace two towel in the room, 3rd you mention that you dont have enough stock for towel while you only gave me one towel?? And that lady manage to provide me the towel. Please bring your own towel if you wanna stay here. Overall facilities is okay. The lobby is nice and clean. Just need enough training for the certain staff here. Treat your guest with fairway and we will comeback.
