Desert Quiver Camp

The quiver camp rooms are very spacious with effective air con. They are nicely decorated and very up together. Modern bathroom facilities, super comfy bed and a sofa to sit on. The kitchen area is fine although the utensil boxes were a bit basic and had things missing. The breakfast is raken at the Sossusvlei lodge 3km down the road which was excellent. The receptionist was very charming and helpful. Areas for potential improvement include some cold water in the fridge, this would have been appreciated at the end of a long hot day on arrival but the biggest issue we noted was the lack of umberellas around the pool. There were 3 which were quickly taken, meaning 5 other people sat huddled in the shade of the bar and couldn't make use of the remaining sun loungers by the pool. I heard them muttering and unhappy and felt slightly guilty under the shade of mine. All in all a very good stay.

Das Camp ist gut gelegen um in den Namib-Naukluft Nationalpark zu kommen. Die Häuser sind relativ neu bzw. frisch renoviert. Das Zimmer ist echt groß und gut unterteilt in Wohn- Schlafbereich und Badezimmer. Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war Top! Wenn man den Grill benutzen möchte bekommt man die Ausstattung Saft an der Rezeption übergeben, ansonsten hat man einen Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Frühstück bekommt man 4 Autominuten in Richtung Nationalpark. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und die Umgebung ist recht ruhig. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit

Son unos cabañitas muy bonitas, con todo lo necesario, tienen cocina y barbacoa. El restaurante para el desayuno y la cena se encuentra a 4km en el otro campamento de Sossusvlei Lodge.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Desert Quiver Camp and did not want to leave. The setting in the middle of the desert was stunning, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent place to stay on your journey through Namibia. We stayed here for 2 nights. The chalets are very clean and beautiful and most of all very spacious. As we have teenagers we had to rent two houses, next to each other which was perfectly fine. From the camp you can easily get to the Dunes, though be aware that you can't enter the park before sunset (little mistake from my site). However, for us this was fine. We also book the early morning walk wit a guide, which was absolutely amazing to search and find little criters. As it is winter in July/August don't expect to find much

Super cool place to stay. In the middle of the desert, huge rooms and a !!pool!!! which was very welcome after a day out in the sun. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. Staff was welcoming and the location was great, just try to arrive when the sun is out

This is the second time we have stayed at Desert Quiver Camp and were not disappointed. The chalets are comfortable and you can braai outside your chalet. The night skies are amazing. I had very good service from the reservations agent who went out of her way to assist, even with booking the sossusvlei nature drive. This is a lovely option of accommodation at Sossusvlei.
