Desert Quiver Camp

The quiver camp rooms are very spacious with effective air con. They are nicely decorated and very up together. Modern bathroom facilities, super comfy bed and a sofa to sit on. The kitchen area is fine although the utensil boxes were a bit basic and had things missing. The breakfast is raken at the Sossusvlei lodge 3km down the road which was excellent. The receptionist was very charming and helpful. Areas for potential improvement include some cold water in the fridge, this would have been appreciated at the end of a long hot day on arrival but the biggest issue we noted was the lack of umberellas around the pool. There were 3 which were quickly taken, meaning 5 other people sat huddled in the shade of the bar and couldn't make use of the remaining sun loungers by the pool. I heard them muttering and unhappy and felt slightly guilty under the shade of mine. All in all a very good stay.

Son unos cabañitas muy bonitas, con todo lo necesario, tienen cocina y barbacoa. El restaurante para el desayuno y la cena se encuentra a 4km en el otro campamento de Sossusvlei Lodge.

Comfortable stay - the pool was great (although on the cooler side). The sunset by the poolside was amazing. Dinner and breakfast was at their sister lodge (Desert Camp) which would have been great to stay at, but I assume would have cost us much more! No issues - beds were comfy, and staff were helpful.

Great place to see the Milky Way. Loved this place as the rooms were spacious, clean with separate toilet and shower area. Nice little porch with a picnic table and BBQ if you desire. Regular restaurant 5K away so you have to drive. Food was great with no waiting. Bar area where the cottages are is very adequate with great staff. Very quiet and remote area.
