My first time at Le Méridien Seoul , new hotel , 6 months old , super clean , great rooms facilities , good buffet breakfast , maybe a bit under staffed during rush hours but staff were very nice . Superb lounge at the 15 floor with very friendly and helpful staff special thanks to Mrs Sharon Kim and Mrs Rachael Kim for there valued help for restaurants and tips for side seen and shopping , Will go back for sure next time I will in Seoul !

Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

The location of the hotel is its main selling point. It is right where the action is. The employees are friendly, polite and very helpful. Service is premium. With the above, I would definitely recommend this place! My drawback is the breakfast offered. The choice and spread is very limited. It is better to go out and eat.

The hotel was clean and organized. The front desk was helpful and their were ladies that helped us to deliver our suitcases. I am not sure what their titles were but I just found that it was rather odd since most hotels in North America hired young men to do this. Kudos to the hotel for not type casting roles. The location was very good. The downstairs food court and restaurant was very tasty and clean. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I am ever in Korea again.

Excellent location in the heart of Seoul with easy access to temples, public transportation, and food. We had a suite that was smaller than most normal rooms at other Marriott properties (especially autograph tier) akin to staying in a New York or Hong Kong hotel. The size of the room was disappointing but ultimately it is a great location. The Boulangerie on the way to the metro is great 👌🏻

Service staff (Jayden Park) was very unfriendly and unhelpful , when we asked him to point out to us , the location of the bus stop which would lead us to the airport limousine bus (to Incheon airport). We were very lost as tourists and did not know Korean language at all, and the need to know the exact bus stop point (in order not to miss our flight) is of utmost importance . The counter staff Jayden Park also gave us a very unwelcoming and unfriendly look when we insisted for his help to show us the bus stop location (which he reluctantly did after our many attempts , which was a very stressful experience for me as a tourist), it made me feel insecure and an immense upset feeling , totally unexpected for a five star Pullman hotel standard. Please review your counter staff performance . Not recommended for tourists.

The walk from seoul station is not that near. Quite a long walk with direct underpass but flat surface. Take note the underpass only 6am-11pm only. Room was huge for 1 pax, you can even open 2 big luggages on the floor. Had the first guest floor which is on 20th floor, which is quite high already. Room was clean and pillow was soft. Iron only 1 in laundry room.

Service was inconsistent - sometimes the staff were really nice and friendly and other times they were plain rude and disrespectful to you. When I first entered my room the smell took me aback. It smelled like a mix of sweat and wet socks. The sheets were crumpled and weren’t super clean either. The bathtub had yellow stains which threw me off as I was looking forward to a midnight soak. Basic amenities were given, which was great. The housekeeping ladies were really sweet as well. It’s a 5 minute walking distance to the train station so location was not so bad. Sadly I don’t think I’d book again as it was not that worth for the price.

The hotel location is perfect and it is right infront of the lift exit 4 from DDP train station. It has airport bus stop right in front of the hotel to Incheon Airport. It may take 2 hours traveling time to airport because the bus will drop by many places around Seoul before heading to airport. The room is spacious and clean.

It's a good hotel on a budget. Has a very homely breakfast and water dispenser to fill up your bottles with ice and water. Also has robes to use as pyjamas. Very no frills. Don't expect service from the staff. We expected to be able to check in earlier when we reached if the room was available. We reached only about 15mins to our check in time but were told to wait at the lobby till 1600. I am not sure what the fixation is about for the check in time. If the room is available, then let the guest have it. First time we have experienced this in any country.

Very handy location, close to both Dongdaemun station & DDP Plaza. Have great restaurants nearby, it has hyundai city outlet & duty free nearby as well. The breakfast was great too, offering various food but+ fruits! The water pressure was amazing really. Highly recommended!

Second time staying here. strength - Very good location. Opposite Miang Market -Spacious room -There is a refrigerator, microwave, and water dispenser outside. weakness - The room is not soundproof. I hear people walking all the time. Even at 2 a.m., there are still sounds of people walking. -This time, the bathroom was waterlogged. When I took a shower, the water flowed slowly, almost flooding. 😩 -Other than that, there's nothing special. -Okay, suitable for the price.

Everyone else in the room took pictures, so I won’t post photos~ The landlord is very nice, he is a compatriot from Taiwan, so he can communicate completely in Chinese. There is a public bar on the 2nd floor, ah, I forgot to take a picture of this one, the layout is very cozy ~ Usually there are coffee, instant noodles, biscuits and snacks, etc. They are all free self-service, but you have to wash the dishes yourself after eating ~ The 3rd floor is my own room. The room is really not very big, but there is a small refrigerator, TV, toilet, and shower. There are big windows. The floor heating is fully turned on. I have always wanted to discuss with the landlord whether it can be turned off a little bit. (>_<) Because I am afraid of heat but not cold... Mainly the location is great! ! Namsan Park, Seoul Tower, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Samcheong-dong, Bukchon Hanok Village. The location of the homestay is in the middle of this scenic spot! Going out is subway line 4, line 3 or line 4... I forgot... All in all, compared to the location, price and environment comfort, it is very good!

A family of four traveling. The location is between Myeongdong and Namsan (need to go uphill) There is no management at the B&B, you need to call the customer service of the B&B to take the holiday (it turns out that after you have given the door password, you can get the room key when you enter the room) Basically no management, the place is old and so are the rooms! There are also bed sheets and quilts that have a strong smell (maybe only the sheets and sheets have been changed, and the quilts have not been washed) There is a problem with the lock of the window and it cannot be locked. The transparent curtain is broken, and it will be like that when it is pulled down. The washbasin in the bathroom is not connected to the water to pour it directly out of the bathroom. Also, the flush toilet was a bit shaky and not secure! I'm afraid of falling and hurting my feet!

All is great except toilet on 3rd floor a little bit difficult to use because so small. But toilet and shower room on 2nd floor easy and clean and bigger. The bed is actually quite private, like living in a box for just yourself. loved it

The hotel’s staff is very friendly, responsible, and helpful, we had a problem with the room and they solved it right away. The gym is really large and is equipped with lots of machines; there is even a separate room for yoga and stretching. The hotel is located next to the City Hall subway and the Deoksugung Palace; there are many places to eat nearby. It’s a fine place to stay while you are in Seoul.

Super near the station! Just up the slope and tada!! Was also near the Seoul tower! Opposite the hotel is the streets for shopping!! Then walk up abit will have some markets! Great to explore! Hotel was nice and comfy beds. They don’t have extra pillows… after I asked for two more… :( They are super friendly! There to help!! Two 711 nearby! One famous fried chicken shop and it was yummy!! :) ideal to travel anywhere within bus and trains! Great for first time travelers!

The location is very good. Just turn right at the next intersection of Myeongdong Subway Station, and you will see it. It is very convenient to go to the surrounding scenic spots. The airport bus stop is just across the road from Exit 2, with children coming to travel. Opposite the hotel, the price has been doubled or tripled on the weekend to book this house. When you see it, there is no elevator, so the remarks should be on the first floor. The floor on the first floor is very hot and not noisy. There are water dispensers and coffee on each floor. Tea, microwave oven, etc., the facilities are very complete, breakfast has bread, coffee, omelettes, juice, the boss service is very good, has always been harmonious, give free printing, copy a lot of information, children like this tatami room, Although the room is a little small, the girlfriends of the same company have always said that they will set this hotel early, and it is cheap and comfortable. I will stay here next time, recommend!
